y/n sighed watching remus walk into the transfiguration lesson, he smirked as he sat in his seat making her roll her eyes.

"when are you two gonna stop doing this?" marlene groaned resting her chin on her palm, "what you on about?" y/n said whipping her head towards her, marlene rolled her eyes "you two do this every time we have a quiz or literally any assignment when is it going to end?" she said with a huff.

"whenever he gives up i'll quit" y/n replied bitterly, professor mcgonagall passed out the quizzes and allowed them all to start.

y/n and remus would sneak glances trying to physic each other out but remus would always have a smirk on his face and y/n would always flip him off in creative ways.

she stood up, taking the parchment in her hands as remus looked up and this time she was the one smirking. y/n walked to the professor handing her the paper with a nod and earning a smile from mcgonagall, but a frown and an eye roll from remus.

the bell rang signaling the people that didn't finish that time was up and sighs were heard. y/n walked out the room marlene and her girlfriend dorcas following close behind, y/n looked back noticing that the marauders were trying to catch up.

"l/n ready to get your ass kicked by moony's test scores?" james gawked running beside her then sirius, remus and peter soon followed. y/n stopped and laughed in his face, "james that's fucking hilarious, just like you're gonna win against slytherin? or you getting with evans?" she mewled tears coming to her eyes.

james got a bit flustered, "hey! don't talk about quidditch or lily" he complained as she continued to laugh.

"alright then, let's make a bet" james said proudly as the group made their way into the gryffindor common room, james was whispering into sirius' ear and sirius kept nodding. "depends on what the bet is" she said sitting her books down on a table then sitting on the arm rest of the couch looking at the four boys.

"if moony gets better marks than you" james started the waited for a moment earning a head tilt from both y/n and remus, "you have to ask out snivellus" he laughed out making peter and sirius' laugh.

"what? no" remus groaned.

"snivellus?" y/n said confused crossing her arms, "snape" sirius huffed but kept a smile on his face.

y/n hummed with a little laugh, "what do i get if i win?" she said raising a brow "well what do you want?" sirius teased making her scoff. y/n hummed again thinking.

"actually i have a better idea" remus said moving james out the way now standing in front of y/n, "the internship, if i get a better score on the test next week you have to drop your grades down to where they won't consider you for the internship and if you win i drop my grades" remus said with a smirk.

"deal" y/n muttered as remus stuck his hand out, and she shook it.

the boys walked towards their dorm whispering things and the only thing that she could make out was "what if she wins" and "we'll see"

y/n walked to her dorm, "what did remus do this time?" dorcas asked as she wiped off marlene's make up. "we aren't competing for marks anymore now it's for that dumb internship" y/n whined throwing herself on her bed as the two girls laughed. "if it's so dumb then why don't you tell him no?" dorcas laughed out.
