"You sure do sleep a lot."
"Get out of my face." She closed her eye again. "Sleeping helps make living bearable."
"Sleeping is practise for death." She huffed. The bed dipped. "Happiness makes life more bearable."
She cracked open an eye. "Do I not look happy to you?"
"Not as happy as you'll be when Eric picks us up."
"What?" The pressure left the bed. "Wait, what?!"
"I asked him to take us out." She paused. "No, technically I asked him to take you out. I'll just tag along till we reach Nana's neighborhood."
"Cho?" She practically rolled out of bed, Choseki laughing as she watched her get ready. "How long do I have?"
"Fifteen."
"Why would you set us up?!"
"You're not exactly refusing." Choseki shrugged. "Besides, it's our day off."
"We don't have days off, Schwester."
"Trus was in Italy much shorter than this and she had a day off. Everything's going smoothly, so why not." She smiled. "I want to learn as much as I can from Nana about Japan and our parents growing up here."
Knock. Knock.
"Just a minute, Eric!"
She giggled at the wide silver eyes.
"You said I had fifteen!"
"Not my fault he's early."
Nagisa glared at her laughing sister, finishing pulling on her clothes.

"I couldn't say no to your sister," Eric explained. "She had these huge puppy eyes."
"Of course she did." Nagisa huffed.
"I just wish I knew she and Ritchie planned to ditch us halfway through the amusement park." He chuckled slightly at her grimace. "Not a fan of rollercoasters?"
"If my unwilling stubbornness to get on didn't hint you; yes. I hate them with a passion." She groaned. "Almost like I hate hospitals."
Eric faked a gasp. "Why would you hate a place that saves lives?"
Nagisa shuddered at the memory of the labs back in Germany and all their testing and prodding. "I just don't, okay?"
"Well," he mused, "at least you got a souvenir out of it. My boss would agree that that is a very big plus."
She looked at the black choker she had gotten Choseki. She would love it, Nagisa was sure of it.
"Where is the Doctor anyway?"
He shrugged. "With the agency. I'm only an intern, so when they overheard Choseki talking with me, they let me take the day off."
