Christmas Eve & Day

- Harry and you are 24

- you have 2 kids,

- Lyla Lily Potter who is 4

- James Sirius Potter who is a year and a half

- you are also about 6 months pregnant with your 3rd child.

Christmas Eve

You all were sitting at the table eating dinner and talking about tomorrow, Lyla was so excited asking a million questions, as James could only say a few words so he would just laugh.

You and Harry smiled happily and answered as many questions as possible. Once dinner had been eatenit was about 8:30. Lyla got up quickly and took James into the living room to play, you looked at Harry and laughed.

You both stood up from the table and you both washed the dishes together and talked. "How are you feeling love?", he asked putting the last dish away into the cupboard and walking over to you and gently placing a hand on your stomach, "yeah I feel good, a little tired but just really happy with this family we have", you said looking into Harry's loving eyes, "that's good, and thank you for giving me this wonderful family", he said with so much love, you smiled and leaned in and kissed Harry. Once you pulled apart he smiled too, you then hear Lyla shouting for you both to come and watch something, you both laugh and walk hand in hand into the living room.

You both sit down on the couch and Harry put his arm around your waist, "so what is it you wanted to show us?", Harry asked Lyla, she did something funny and you all laughed. Then James crawled over to you tired and rubbing his eyes, "aww, you tired James?", you asked him while lifting onto your lap and he nodded and put his head on your chest, you smiled and rocked him back and forth and you and Harry swapped happy smiles.

"Okay, I think it's time for bed", Harry said to Lyla she nodded a little tired too, Harry picked her up and you stood upwith a sleepy James still in your arms. You all made it the upstairs and you got James changed and Harry got Lyla changed into matching Christmas pyjamas you bought.

Lyla and James shared a bedroom until the baby was born and then would share a room with one of them.

Once they were both changed, you put James into his bed and Harry brought Lyla over to James's bed so that you and Harry could read them both a story. You and Harry did stories differently, not by books but it would either be completely made up or a kid-modified version ofthe stories and adventures of things that happened during your and Harry's time at Hogwarts.

Tonight the story was about the first Christmas you and Harry were together as a couple during your fourth year. As you told your part of the story Harry looked at you with so much love, almost like he couldn't believe that this was his life, the life he always wanted he was able to give to his kids he was happy he could do that it made a missing part of himself almost whole. You loved to watch Harry become a father he was nervous at first but once he held Lyla for the first time he was nothing but and you loved him so much. Once you both finished the story James was asleep but Lyla was still half awake.

Harry picks her up and brings her to her bed to let James sleep, you follow them and sit down on Lyla's bed, Harry tucked her in and she asked for you to sing her a song which you always did for her even when you were pregnant with her you would sing and she would always calm down in your stomach.

So you sang her a little lullaby and Harry loved your voice he watched you sing and then looked down to Lyla to she was asleep, you stopped singing and gave her a kiss on the forehead and so did Harry and you both did the same with James and then left their bedroom and went into yours.
