Valentines Day

You woke up to a familiar feeling. It felt like something was holding you down. 

And it turns out there was something holding you down, or rather someone. You turned around and saw Harry fast asleep with his arm wrapped around your waist.

You didn't remember Harry coming in last night. You were used to Harry staying the night. You would stay in his dorm or him in yours. You practically lived together.

But you usually fall asleep with Harry at the same time and you would know he was there, but as you didn't know he was there, this came as a surprise.

"Harry!" you yelled.

"What?", Harry said in a calm but in his groggy morning voice. 

"What are you doing here?", you asked. 

"Cuddling you", he said so casually.

"Yeah, I can see that. But why?", you asked. You don't really know why you're being so defensive about why Harry was there, but you think it's because you're still really surprised.

"Well because it's Valentine's Day and I wanted to be the first person you saw in the morning", he said opening his eyes slowly. 

You looked at him; his hair messy as ever, his glasses off which was unusual, you stared into his bright emerald green eyes and all you could think was 'How did I get so lucky?

Your expression softened from your shocked face.

You sank back on your pillow and Harry pulled you close and wrapped his arms around you. You closed and took in his comforting scent. 

"Good morning love", he said and kissed your forehead. "Good morning baby", you said resting your head on his chest.

After some time you both got up and dressed. You both made your way down to breakfast in the Great Hall.

You sat down and started eating. 

"So anything fun planned for today?", you asked pouring cereal into a bowl. "Oh I think so", Harry said with a smirk.

"Any details?", you asked. Harry shook his head. "Patience my love, patience".

You smiled and shook your head, but you were really excited about what he had planned.

After breakfast, you both went back up to the common room. You both sat down on the couches next to the fireplace.

"So... Ready for my first surprise?", he asked. You nodded your head and sat with anticipation.

He pulled out a black box and opened it and it was a beautiful love heart necklace with the initials 'H&Y/I' (Your initials).

"Harry it's beautiful. It looks expensive though", you said looking at him. "Don't worry and wear it", Harry said.

You sighed but you gave in and turned around and moved your hair out of the way, "Put it on me please".

Harry moved closer and put the necklace on. After it was on Harry kissed your shoulder. You turned around and smiled. He looked at you. 

"You are beautiful", he said making you blush.

"oh I've got something for you", you said after a long moment of staring at each other.

"You really didn't have to", Harry said quickly.

"be quiet!", you said before he could say anything else. Harry raised his eyebrows but stayed quiet.
