Chapter 2

Mari's POV :

I had a lovely time with Damian. He is really sweet. I messaged him when I got back to the hotel.

Angel💖:
Hey! Did you get home safely?

Demon😈:
Yes, I did. Don't worry Angel. Would you like to meet up with me tomorrow?

I started squealing when I read his message. He wants to meet up again!!!

Angel💖:
Sure! Does 2pm at the parc work for you?

Demon😈:
See you then!

I wonder whether I have enough time to make him something? I think he mentioned something about being vegan... I'll make him some macaroons and some cookies.

Tikki (teasingly) : Does someone have a crush?

Mari (blushing) : Ye- No! Of course not! I only just met him!

Tikki starts laughing.

Mari: Let's go patrol the area. Tikki! Spots on!

I leave the building. My suit changed to fit Gotham. It's darker and less childish. I also have wings under a black spotted shell. I run across the roofs and stop a few crimes.

I then head to the top of WE. I sit down and looks at the city. I soon sense a presence behind me.

Ladybird : I know you're there. It's impolite to stare. You can come out and join me if you want to.

Robin comes out of the shadows.

Robin : Who are you and how did you know I was there?

I stood up.

Ladybird : I need to go. It was nice meeting you. Bye!

I swang away.

Damian's POV :

I changed into my suit and left for patrol.

There were less crimes to deal with tonight. I kept searching for an hour or two before seeing a figure at the top of WE. I hid in the shadows and watched them for a few seconds.

??? : I know you're there. It's impolite to stare. You can come out and join me if you want to.

I left my hiding place.

Robin : Who are you and how did you know I was there?

Ladybird stood up.

??? : I need to go. It was nice meeting you. Bye!

I watched her swing away. Drake suddenly spoke over the coms.

Drake: Who were you talking to?

Damian : Some girl claiming to be a hero.

°Time skip°

I had dinner and went to bed. I ended up chasing Todd around the manor with my katana. He asked about who I had been texting earlier. When I didn't answer, he thought it would be fun to imply that I had a girlfriend and wouldn't stop talking about it. He now has a new scar on his back. He deserved it.

I fell asleep as I finished sketching Angel. I wonder whether she would pose for me to paint her?

Mari's POV :

I got back as I detransformed. I ate a small dinner and fell asleep.

°Time skip°

I woke up before Tikki and decided to make us some breakfast and some treats for Damian. I made some vegan macaroons and cookies. I set a few cookies on a small plate for Tikki and took a shower.

While showering, I saw my razor blade. I thought of Alya's last words to me before I left the classroom.

I grabbed it and was about to run it across my forearm when I remember Damian expression when he saw the scars. I stopped myself and put it away. I won't let my class ruin my holidays. I don't want to see Damian disappointed in me.

End of warning ⚠️:

I got out of the shower and got dressed. I wore black denim shorts with a white sleeveless crop top.

I found Tikki eating her last cookie.

Tikki : These were delicious Marinette! Thank you!

Mari : You're welcome!

I finished two of Jagged's commissions before heading to the park to see Damian.
