Winter 2021 (January)
Scarlett's POV
Today is the day, Charlotte is going to Colin her new dad, Colin has been away for his sisters wedding I couldn't go because I was going to adopt Charlotte but Colin has been calling to ask how me and her doing and I have been telling him everything that has been happening.
"Charlotte baby there is someone I want you to meet"I call out from the front door where I am standing with Colin.
Charlotte runs to me and sees a random man beside me, she whimpers and runs to me quickly, I pick her up and bounce her up and down gently.
"It's ok, he isn't going to hurt you. He is your new daddy, his name is Colin"I explain to her making her look up at Colin, Colin smiles at her and see smiles back slightly because she is still nervous because of her old father at her old home.
"Hey Charlotte it is lovely meeting you"Colin says in his sweet voice which makes Charlotte start to loosen up and relax.
"Hello"Charlotte says smiling at him, Colin's smile widens when she speaks just like mine did when I first heard her voice.
"We watch movie?"Charlotte asks pointing to her and then Colin.
"Of course we can watch a movie"Colin says smiling at Charlotte, Charlotte makes grabby hands to him and he take her out of my arms and over to the couch.
I stand and smile at them watching 'Beauty and The Beast', I am happy that she warmed up to Colin so quickly and so easily, I mean who wouldn't he had such a loveable face.
Sorry it's short I just wanted to introduce Colin and Charlotte :)
