Scarlett's POV

Charlotte is starting at a new school today, since the Christmas break is over she has to go back to school. I'm not sure how she is going to react not being able to have me or Colin with her but if she needs us we are just a call away.

"Charlotte baby come on let's go!"I shout up the stairs to wear Charlotte is getting her paw patrol backpack, she runs to the stairs and carefully walks down them, it is a little hard for since she is only small.

I grab her hand and go out to the car after making sure we have everything and lock up the house, Colin is already waiting for us in the car, I buckle Charlotte in and get into the passengers seat before Colin starts to drive to her kindergarten.

We arrive at kindergarten and I grab Charlotte's backpack while Colin gets her out of the car, she walks hand in hand with both me and Colin smiling widely, maybe today won't be that bad.

"Bye sweetheart, we will see you later ok?"I say squatting down in front of her and planting a small kiss on her forehead and Colin gives her an inspiration speech like he is her soccer coach, I giggle and smile at the two being cute.

We both stand up and Colin holds me by my waist as we watch Charlotte walk through the doors of her kindergarten with her teacher.

"I love you mama and dada!"We hear her call out before the door shuts, I start to tear up hearing her says that, that was the first time she has ever said 'I love you to me and Colin', I let a few tears fall and Colin quickly wipes them and pulls me into a hug before we get back into the car and drive home.

Charlotte's POV

After mama and dada left me at kindergarten I felt a little bit sad until I saw all the toys and games to play with.

"Ok everyone let's sit in a circle and we can introduce ourselves so we can get to know each other"the teacher, Ms. Greene says before we all run to sit in a circle.

I am sitting beside two girls but I don't know their names yet, I just sit their smiling until it is the my turn.

"My name is Lucas and I like to play soccer with my dad".

"My name is Megan and I like to draw".

"My name is Nick and I like to do science experiments with my mom".

"My name is Naomi and I like to make friends".

"My name is May and I like to play with my dolls".

"My name is Charlotte and I like to have movie nights we my mama, dada and my puppy Rocky" I say smiling.

"My name is Ellie and I like to play with my puppy Bruce".

Everyone else says their names and then what they like until we are allowed to go and play, I run over to the building blocks when one girl walks up to me and then three more.

"Hi my name is Naomi"Naomi says smiling at me, I smile at her.

"My name is Charlotte"I say to all four of the girls.

"My name is May and this is my cousin Ellie"May says pointing to Ellie.

"My name is Megan"Megan says smiling at me, all four of them sit down with me and we all start to play together, they are really nice girls, I think I might have found my new best friends.

After another few hours of playing and learning it is home time, I am sad that I have to leave Megan, Naomi, May and Ellie but I will see them tomorrow.

I see mama and dada and run up to them and mama picks me up twirling me around before balancing me on her hip.

"Mama I made friends today!"I squeal happily, mama smiles and puts me in my car seat before getting in the car as well.

"Really what are your friends names?"Mama asks looking at me while dada drives.

"Megan, Naomi, May and Ellie, May and Ellie are cousins as well"I say happily bouncing in my seat, this was the best first day at school ever.
