Scarlett's POV

After I adopted Charlotte yesterday I felt like my life was complete, she is a very lovely little girl, she doesn't talk much but I know what happened to her in the past and she was probably punished for talking or even looking at her father in anyway possible, Charlotte is fast asleep in her bed in her new room while I am getting ready to go shopping today.

Ms. Honey told me she has nightmares some nights but last night she didn't at least I don't think she did but I will probably be able to tell when I go to wake her up in a little bit, I mean it is quite early so I don't think I am going to be waking her up anytime soon.

I think I am going to go downstairs and make some pancakes and fruit for breakfast and then I will wake her up, even if she only met me yesterday she has really warmed up to me quite quick which I am very happy about because I can then get to know her even more and form an amazing bond with her.

I make my way downstairs and start the pancakes, they only take a couple of minutes so while they are in the pan I start to cut up the fruit. I hear small footsteps and faint sniffles. I look up after putting the last pancake on the plate to see a very upset looking Charlotte coming towards me with her blanket in one hand and her bunny teddy in the other.

"Hey Charlotte what's wrong?"I ask bending down to her but all she does is make grabby hands to me, I half smile and pick her up, she pushes her head into my neck and continues to sniffle.

"Do you want to tell me what's wrong?"I asks again while gently bouncing her up and down in my arms to calm her down.

"woke up an not find you"she whispers making me smile from ear to ear knowing she went looking for me, I start to walk over to the bar stools and sit down on one of them with Charlotte on my lap.

"Well I'm here now baby, me and you are going to go on a shopping trip to get you some new clothes and maybe we can get you some ice - cream"I say trying to lighten the mood, I tickle her stomach making her giggle loudly before laying her head on my chest, her giggle is the cutest sound ever, I am adding that to my list of favourite sounds and of course her voice it's self.

"Here baby I made you some pancakes and fruit and I have your sippy cup with apple juice in it"I say turning her around to face the kitchen island while she still sits on my lap, she smile widely and looks at me for permission to eat it, I nod and she grabs her plastic fork and starts to eat her bowl of fruit.

Me and Charlotte have now just finished our breakfast and I need to get her dressed so I clean up the kitchen and the dishes putting them into the dishwasher before going back over to Charlotte and picking her up.

"Let's go and get you dressed yea?"I say walking up the stairs and into her bedroom, I place her on her bed before going over to her small collection of clothes, I pull out a purple top with a rainbow on it and '#rainbow squad' written underneath it, I also pull out a pair of black leggings, white socks and a pair of purple trainers.

"Tutu"I hear Charlotte from behind me, I turn to her and see her pointing her purple skirt, I pick it up as well as some clean underwear before walking back over to her to get her changed, I change her quickly and bring her into her bathroom to brush her teeth and so her hair.

She asked for pigtails so I put two little pigtails in her hair and brush her teeth. I bring her downstairs and grab my bag and her bunny teddy before putting her in her car seat and starting to drive to the mall.

"Are you excited to go shopping today?"I ask Charlotte trying to start a conversation, I look in the mirror and see a very smiley Charlotte in the back of the car.

"Yea but there too many people"Charlotte says with a slight frown on her face, I look at her in the mirror again and give her a sad smile.

"Don't worry about the people, I will be with you the whole entire time"I say reassuring her I won't leave her side, I see her nod and I continue to drive to the mall while we sit in a comfortable silence.

"Ok baby, we are here"I say getting out of the car, I grab my hand bag and then go over to Charlotte's side of the car and get her out of her car seat and hold her in my arms.

"Ok Charlotte sweetie can you listen to me for two seconds?"I ask because I need to tell her about the paparazzi, she nods and looks at me waiting for me to speak.

"There will be some people with camera's and flashing lights taking videos and photos of us, this is going to happen every time we go out because I am a famous person ok?"I explain to her in the easiest way possible, I think she understood because she nods and buries her head in my neck while I lock the car and bring her into the mall.

Right away I see paparazzi, I just avoid and ignore them, I walk straight into the mall and go straight to Justice, I know she will like that store because she loves anything with colours on it.

"Ok sweetie you can pick out some stuff you like in her and I will get them for you then we can go to the next store"I say balancing her on my hip she can have a little look around for a couple pieces of clothing that she wants.

I walk around the store and she picks out a couple of skirts, leggings & t-shirts. I pay and we walk out of the shop, we are met with loads of paparazzi asking questions like, 'who is the little girl?', 'why do you have a little girl?' or 'did you adopt her?', I know I'm going to be on the news later and will be getting a million phone calls from my friends and family.

We go around another couple of stores before stopping off at the food area to grab some lunch, Charlotte gets chicken nuggets and apple juice from McDonald's and I get a Big Mac with a Diet Coke from McDonald's as well, we eat our food and I see Charlotte is getting a lot more talkative since I first met her yesterday, I enjoy hearing her happy and cheerful voice talk about things she likes or things she did with her biological mother.

I can see Charlotte is starting to get tired so I think I should get her to sleep, she is basically asleep on my shoulder as I carry her out of the mall and into the car, I drive home with Charlotte fast asleep in the back of the car, today had been a long and eventful day with the paparazzi and the shopping trip but all around it was a very fun day with me and my beautiful and cute daughter.
