- AUNT LIZZIE'S HOUSE -

Summer 2021

Scarlett's POV

Charlotte is now on her summer holidays from school and she has been begging to go to Elizabeth's house.

Elizabeth and Charlotte have a beautiful bond, they are like two peas in a pod, they are two troublemakers as well but they are a cut duo.

"Charlotte come downstairs I have someone for you!"I shout up to Charlotte, I hear small footsteps running down the stairs and running towards me.

"AUNT LIZZIE!"Charlotte screams the minute she sees Elizabeth standing beside me with a huge smile on her face.

"Charlotte!"Lizzie shouts opening her arms for Charlotte to run into them.

"I missed you"Charlotte whispers making me and Lizzie smile.

"I missed you too Char!"Lizzie whispers back making me smile even more. Lizzie has a little nickname for Charlotte which is Char, I have a nickname for her as well which is Charlie or Char Char and then Colin's nickname is Charcoal, don't even ask me why but that is just Colin for you.

"Charlie you can head to Aunt Lizzie's house for the day if you want baby"I say making Charlotte smile even more and nod her head frantically.

"Ok little monster lets go"Lizzie says tickling Charlottes belly making her laugh loudly.

I hand Lizzie Charlotte's backpack with her toys and stuff in it and the two make their way out of the house after giving me and hug and Charlotte giving me a kiss.

I watch as Lizzie drives off with Charlotte in the back of the car, I smile and wave to her and she waves back to me.

Lizzie's POV

"Ok let's go and get some ice cream!"I say making Charlotte squeal, I smile and drive to the ice cream shop down the street.

"What ice cream do you want honey?"I ask Charlotte as we walk hand in hand towards the shop.

"Strawberry!"Charlotte exclaims loudly while smiling, I smile and nod.

I give the lady our order and she gets our ice creams for us.

I give Charlotte her ice cream and starts to stuff it in her mouth making me giggle.

Since we are so close to the beach we decided to go on a walk along the beach.

Charlotte skips ahead of me while finishing off her ice cream as we walk down the beach.

Her white laced summer dress flowing in the wind, her beautiful dirty blonde hair flowing in the wind and her cute giggles making the atmosphere amazing.

After the beach we head back to my house and play in my pool since I have a couple of outfits and clothes here for Charlotte.

We play in the pool for another while until dinner time.

"Ok Char let's get you into the bath and then we have to go back to mama and dada"I say lifting the tired little girl into my arms before wrapping her in a towel.

She whines but doesn't say anything since she is so tired.

I give her a quick bath before getting her changed and put her in the car before driving back to Scarlett's house.

We make it to Scarlett's house and I pick Charlotte up from her car seat and grab her bag before walking up to Scarlett's front door.

Scarlett opens the door with a smile on her face and smiles even wider when she sees Charlotte half asleep in my arms.

"Looks like you two had a lot of fun today"She says quietly as she gently takes Charlotte out of my arms and holds her close to her chest while bouncing her up and down to make her go to sleep.

"We did, we went for ice cream and then went on a walk on the beach and then back to my house to play in my pool"I explain smiling.

"Thank you Lizzie, I'll see you later enjoy your night and drive safe"Scarlett says hugging me before I walk back to my car and drive home.

Scarlett's POV

I bring Charlotte up to her room and put her in her bed since Lizzie already changed her into her pyjamas before they came here and then went to bed myself since I was exhausted from working around the house all day.
