The Killing

Chapter Three

After a while the cafeteria became empty but Dustin and I we were the only two left still talking he seemed to be in a better mood then what I found him in. We got bored so we started a poking war most of the time Dustin was it cause every time he'd poke me I'd poke him right back, he poked me once when I wasn't looking and ran for his life. I looked all over the school for him but couldn't find him.

I decided to go back to the gym and danced with Crystal, while I was looking for Crystal I ran into Dustin he caught me before I fell to the ground and pulled me up next to him. A slow song came on so he asked me to dance I staired at him and said "Sure." We dance to that song and we never left each others side the entire time.

He pulled me close into him he whispered "I...I need you to continue living this way..."

I looked into his brown eyes and felt as if I could see his soul, as I looked into his eyes he began to show worry.

I leaned into him and said "Yes I will stay with you."

His eyes glistened with joy while I smiled he hugged me. After that we left the gym and walked around the school without anybody else cause we both hated other people except for each other. Almost every second was that much important to me, after wandering around we went outside to the old playground and started to swing on the old jagged swings that were coming apart at the seams but we didn't care cause all we needed anymore was each other.
