We quickly packed up the wrapping paper and then Liz ducked outside to call Stefan, just to make sure everything was going okay.

"Can I..." I took a step towards the front door, where Liz was talking outside. Bonnie and Caroline stepped in front of me.

"No way." They said at the same time.

"You will have the rest of your life to talk to Damon." Caroline folded her arms. "You will be spending the last two hours of your life as Elena Gilbert with your two best friends."

I sighed and laughed, shaking my head at them, but I relented. She was right. Damon and I were getting married. We would be together forever.

"So what are we going to do?" I asked. Bonnie and Caroline exchanged a look, one I recognised. I groaned. "Oh god no." I shook my head. "Whatever it is, I'm scared."

"You'll love it." Bonnie pulled something out of her pocket.

Caroline giggled and patted my shoulder, ducking into the lounge. I heard her moving something as Bonnie pressed the blindfold into my hand. I opened my mouth to ask why but then closed it again. I didn't want to know.

"You better not lead me off a cliff." I warned her, lifting the blindfold to my eyes and tying it tight so I couldn't see. Bonnie grabbed my hand.

"No promises." She laughed.

I really couldn't see a thing and I had to completely rely on Bonnie. She walked me somewhere for a few seconds and then let me go. I heard her whisper something to Caroline, and then there was a click. Music started playing, and I laughed when I knew immediately what they were playing. Our old playlist of favourite songs over the years.

"Hold this." Caroline said, and I felt something being pressed into my hand. It was wooden, kind of long. I frowned.

"Why am I holding a bat?" I asked.

"There is a pinata in your lounge." Bonnie said as if it happened all the time. "Hit it."

"Alright." I mumbled. My friends were insane.

Gripping the bat tightly, I tried to listen to the sounds around me to figure out where it was so I wouldn't hit anything, but I couldn't hear over the music. That was probably on purpose. Taking a chance, I swung the bat to my left. I hit the corner of something, which swung away and then came back to hit me in the face.

Bonnie and Caroline burst out laughing as I stumbled back. I untied the blindfold and rubbed my nose. The pinata had the tiniest dent in one corner, and I rolled my eyes as I tossed the bat and blindfold to Caroline.

"Nice one." Bonnie said as I got out of the way in case Caroline decided to hit me by mistake.

The pinata was pink - I was sensing a theme here - in the shape of a big heart. Caroline tied the blindfold on and then stood completely still. She was quiet for a moment, and then she hit the pinata with much more accuracy than I had. A crack appeared and she took the blindfold off with a smile.

"Didn't hit my face." She told me as she gave it to Bonnie.

"Haha." I rolled my eyes.

We hit the pinata for a few rounds until Caroline finally burst it open. Tiny pink paper hearts rained down onto us, as well as a small package that I barely caught. It almost hit me in the face - again. Bonnie laughed at me as Caroline threw the blindfold onto the couch.

"Open it." She nudged me.

I peeled the pink paper off and a tiny white thing fell out. It was fabric, rolled up into a tight ball. Frowning, I unrolled it and then stared down at the tiny garment. It was tiny.

It was a little baby's jumpsuit, plain white with the words Little Miracle printed in the middle with pink embroidery.

"Oh." I whispered.

"We're not expecting you to need it anytime soon, but we thought you might want to hang onto it for a bit." Bonnie said.

"Thank you." I choked out, leaning my head on Caroline's shoulder and resting a hand on Bonnie's arm. "I love you guys so much."

The door opened, and Liz came back in. She looked startled at the sight of me crying, but then her eyes dropped to the baby clothes I had in my hand, and she smiled. We straightened up as she walked towards us.
"Did..." I started.

"Damon says he loves you." Liz cut me off. I smiled, my fingers tightening around the baby clothes.

"Right." Caroline clapped her hands. "I know we have ages, but it's killing me. We need to start getting you ready now."

"Now?" I asked. "But...okay." I quickly backtracked under her gaze.

"Right." Caroline obviously had this planned out. "Get in the shower, wash your hair. Bonnie, the boxes are in my car. Be careful with them. Mom." She turned to Liz. "Can you make sure that the flowers, makeup, and all the hair stuff, is on Elena's desk."
