I do

The hot summer sun shone on the white walls of the chapel. The brilliant blue sky radiating promises of happiness to those entering the small white building. I barely knew half of the attendants, I smiled to establish that I am indeed the happiest I have been. I hadn't been able to get much sleep. I knew after today, things would never be the same again, this was a new beginning for both of them.

Pretty soon all eyes, including mine, were fixed on the aisle. There she was, there was my girl. Sara had refused to wear a dress. I agree, it was too common, too traditional for someone as special as her. Walking down the aisle in her high heels till her lipstick and her veil, She was dressed in white. Gasps of wonder arose amongst the crowd, I couldn't hear a thing for my rapidly beating heart. I was sure I had never seen someone so beautiful, ever.

I closed my eyes for a second to calm my beating heart, calming myself to the soothing sounds of the classic wedding song coming from the band. The sight of the woman who had by now reached the end of the aisle was too much for me to handle.

The following hour was a blur. I was paralyzed by her beauty, all I could seem to focus on was her. The words I heard echoing loud and clear through the chapel were the ones that matter the most.

"I do"

I stared at the photograph in my hands. The white chapel, the bright blue sky, my girl in burgundy. A single tear landed on her face, blurring Sara's features. I wish I could do the same with all the images and memories of her that were still stuck in my head. Erasing them until I can forget once again what happiness and beauty looked like. With one swift movement I tore the photograph apart, right through the person standing beside Sara, tearing Her picture perfect face like She had done to my heart, when She married my girl.

A/N : Hey everyone, hope you're enjoying the book so far. I don't usually like to write angst, but my friends challenged me to write one. So I decided, hey might as well post it on here. This is what i'd imagine if Nyssa attended Avalance wedding. Yeah at this point i dont think Nyssa (katrina law) will have the chance to star in legends of tomorrow, but hey a one can always have hope. So i hope you enjoyed this short angsty drabble, and i shall scoot myself back into my cozy cave. See you on the next update!
