It is past lunch and the canadian male is laying down on his couch lazily because he's done with the chores and there's nothing much to do other than staring out of space.
So he decided to call his mom since he missed her.
"How are you mom?" mark ask with his eyes half close
"I'm here cooking some snacks.." mrs. lee answered
"What snack?"
"Hotteok."
"Ohhhh.."
"How about you?"
"Me? I just finished my chores and i'm laying down on my couch.."
"Why don't you call your bestfriends to go in your place?"
"Nahhhh.. they'll be a mess here.."
"I heard jeno is always there..." she teased on the other line
Mark's jaw drop with what his mom said "What's with your tone mom?!"
"What? Your aunt lee told me that you and him were always spending your time together with jeno's cat.."
"You know jeno is always bored mom!"
"So are you! Wow you two are actually match!"
"Are you trying to sell me off to my bestfriend?"
"I'm not! Why would I? Besides i'm not really shocked because jeno has been fond of you eversince since he was a kid.."
"Mom, you're sentence was so absurd!"
"Why is that absurd? I'm just expressing the things I observe! And you already told them about what you think of jeno being a decent date!"
"Because that is what I see!"
"Really?"
"MOM!"
"Okay okay...hahahaha but I see you enjoying your time there huh, I just saw yeji and jeno's post on the sns last week.."
"The family invited us.."
"They're the housemates of renjun right?"
"Yep..."
"And the pets with you are so adorable!"
"They are!"
"Yeji told me by the way that jeno carried you in his back because you got sprain, is that true?" mrs. lee teases again
Mark sighed "Yeah it's true.."
Mrs. Lee scream on the phone making him jerk his phone away from the his ears because he felt deaf for a second.
"Mom, you don't have to scream!"
"Sorry, you know I just felt excited!"
"What was so exciting about that? That sprain hurts me!"
"It just felt like going back to my teenage years duh! It reminds me and your dad!"
The canadian male roll his eyes and smile "The what, sprain?"
"No silly! The piggy back ride!"
