She was so in love with living her life
She was so excited to finally see the sun coming out
To finally see something, to jazz up her mind
She felt so unheard no matter how she cried it out
It was the fear of getting after all blind
But was she born to live it?
Was she born to watch the sunrise?
It was a matter of days as she thought
It was a matter of days as she sought
Watch her talk about her dreams
You wouldn't notice how she's so pathetic
But she couldn't reach to her own aesthetic
Things got harder and harder
As she never anticipated
Winds were so disappointing
Not as promised or stated
How empty was she?
That even air could make her left emotions fly away
Was she ever the girl she wanted to be?
Maybe she should have forced her emotions to stay
But nothing stayed-it all burned
No doubt she'll let the ashes fly
Were her dreams so high?
They were yet she wasn't
And she always knew
But who would admit she isn't?
She denied it till she didn't know
It all poured into the question of who she really is
She never knew it
And maybe even didn't wanna believe it
That she really wasn't that one she thought she is
Her mind remained empty
And so did her heart
Would she find her home at the end?
Maybe she was her home from the start.
