Party Time

Alexia's POV

As soon as we enter the room, Aitana jumps on Victoria and leads her to the karaoke area. I walk to the bar and get myself a drink.

"First kiss?" Jennifer leans on the bar with a huge smirk.

"Shut up." I roll my eyes at my best friend.

"You're so in love, Ale." She giggles. "How was it?"

"Incredible...." I smile. "Soft, powerful... better than I could imagine."

"Are you ready?" She seriously asks.

"Ready for?" I frown.

"To face your relationship on a daily basis?"

"I had doubts, not going to lie." I nod. "But, after what she just told me, I think we are both ready. Alba reassured me too."

"They get along well." Jennifer states. "It's a real good point."

"It is." I look at my hands thinking about my fight with my sister. "Do you think I should come home earlier from Dubai?"

"What for?" Jennifer chuckles and I look at Victoria having fun with Leila and Aitana. "Oh... no."

"Final answer?" I chuckle at her reaction. "You'll have time for this, Ale. She is going to be with her friends, you have nothing to worry about, she'll be right here when you arrive, and you'll be all rest and fresh thanks to your family's holidays."

"Sure?"

"Don't start like this." She warns me. "Don't plan your life only based on what Vic is going to do or not. You know better than that, I know it's new and it's been a long time since you've last been in a relationship, but don't forget what you want, and how you want your relationship to be."

"You're right..." I sigh. "Let's have fun, shall we?"

We go to the others and start to dance and sing. I spend a lot of time with Jennifer, Sandra, and my sister while Victoria is more with Leila, Aitana and Patri. I see Victoria laughing a lot with Leila, they are really close, but I recognize in their relationship, the kind of friendship I have with Jenni. I know I don't have to be jealous of that, yet I feel like Leila knows Victoria more than I do. I still have so much to learn about the woman I love, it scares me a bit.

I decide to drink, maybe a bit too much, but it feels good for once. During the night, I get closer to Victoria as we dance, and the alcohol helps me opening up a bit.

"I didn't know you could dance, love." She whispers in my ear.

"There is so much you don't know about me." I whisper back and she looks at me with something I quite don't know in her eyes.

"Care to make me discover those things?" She bites her lip, and I can't resist the urge to kiss her. "I take that as a yes."

"Can we go home?" I wonder.

"Don't you have fun?" She chuckles, which makes my heart beats faster.

"I want to spend time with you, alone." I admit and she nods.

"I'll warn the girls, go find your jacket." She kisses me softly and walks to Lieke and Leila.

I go upstairs to take my jacket, but as I enter the room, I left it in, I see my sister and María kissing lustfully on the bed.

"Oh God..." I put my hand in front of my eyes. "I'm taking my jacket, forget that I saw that, and María, we'll talk tomorrow."

"Ale!" Alba sighs. "Come back."

I go downstairs quickly, finding Victoria right in front of the door, waiting for me. I open the door and walk to her car madly.

"What's wrong?" She wonders looking behind me. "Oh..." She whispers when she sees María and Alba walking behind me.

Victoria's POV

"Girls, we are going back home." I inform Leila and Lieke.

"Have fun, sister." Leila kisses my cheek.

"We'll plan New Year's Eve tomorrow, does that sound good to you?" Lieke asks and I nod. "Perfect, see you, babe."

"Jenni!" I shout to my friend. "Great party! See you!"

"Have fun, newbie. Thanks for coming!" She yells back over the loud music.

I smile and walk to the door, I take my phone to see if I have any messages but then, I see Alexia walking madly to the door and then to my car. I look behind her just to see Alba and Mapi with guilty looks on their faces. Damn.

Alba walks behind Alexia and Mapi wants to follow them, but I stop her gently taking her wrist in my hand.

"I don't think it's a good idea." I state with a small smile.

"You're right... I'm fucked." She sighs and sits on the stairs leading outside.

I close the door, making sure no one noticed the fight, and I sit next to Mapi. She puts her head on my shoulder and we hear Alexia and Alba fighting.

"What did I do?" Mapi seems sad.

"Do you like her?" I wonder.

"I guess so... I'm not really big on feelings, you know?" She explains. "With Alba, it's that little game we have, always messing around, getting close to each other, playing with each other, but doing it behind Alexia's back... it's both needed and dangerous..."

"She doesn't want you to be with Alba?" I ask.

"She is scared I'll break her heart... I can't blame her though. She is a great friend of mine, she knows everything I've done in the past, with other girls. I totally get why she doesn't want me around Alba." Mapi tells me and her voice breaks a little.

"Could you change for her?"

"I think I could." Mapi sighs. "I mean, I want to, even if I'm not sure I truly can."

"I'll try to talk to Ale, once she calms down." I speak. "Just to see if you have a chance, one day, that she welcomes you to her family."

"Don't mess things with her for me, Vic." Mapi nods disapprovingly. "You're the first person she has fallen in love with since I know her, don't do anything that could break this. Mainly if it is trying to save my ass. I'm not worthy."

"Shut up." I hit her knee. "You're my teammate, now. I'll help you. I just need to find a way for Alexia not to get mad at me for that."

"Good luck with that." She chuckles and I join her.

"First my sister, now my girlfriend." We hear Alexia walking to us. "You did choose your day to die, María Pilar León."

"Ale..." I stand up and take her in my arms before she can hit Mapi. "Let go for tonight, love."

"She can't fuck my sister and not face me for that." Alexia is clearly mad.

"You'll have time to talk to her once you'll be sobered up and calm." I whisper and kiss her neck softly. "Come on, love, let's go home."

"You're so lucky she is here to calm me down." Alexia points at Mapi with tears in her eyes. "Break her heart and I'll end you."

"Alexia!" Alba shouts madly but I give her a look, and she understands it's not the moment to fight anymore.
