{{DAMARA MARIANO}}
I woke up to a ring being placed on my finger in the middle of the night. When Vi went back to sleep he laid on top of my stomach. I picked up my left hand and started at the gorgeous piece of jewelry. The ring was very simple. It was a very small rectangle diamond in the center of a silver band. On either side of the diamond were two smaller ones. Next the the original band was a smaller one. The wedding band.
I looked down at Vi's left hand to see his normal rings on and a new addition. A dark silver wedding ring. I lightly played with his hair trying not to wake him up as I stared at the ceiling.
I love this life. This one is my favorite, it will always stay that way no matter the outcome. Whatever happens next we do it together without hesitation and that's what I love most about our relationship. Neither of us are willing to give up what we have, the love we share for one another. It's way to valuable to loose.
Even when one or the other is gone, our love will forever stand. Even if we split. Not that I'm saying that will ever happen. I'm way to protective over Vi and I know he's protective over me as well.
We're undivided.
I don't ever want this feeling to go away. I closed my eyes and finally fell back asleep after some overthinking. It wouldn't be me if it didn't involve a small amount of procrastination.

I am going to a warehouse today. We got a tip from Dip that it was where Atlas last was. Vi has work to do for his own business so we both agreed I should go alone. I slipped on my boots and laced them up. I stood up and grabbed my phone along with the keys to my car. Vi and I had it shipped from New York. It was the car we drove to the airport in. My beloved Acura genesis G70. I love this car with all my heart.
I stepped out of our room and walked downstairs into the living room. Vi was on the couch typing shit into his laptop. I walked over and kissed his head.
"I'm leaving now." I mumbled against his hair.
I kissed down the side of his face then he turned his head. He kissed me and I pulled away instantly.
"Wait! I want to do something hold on." I grabbed his face and placed it in front of him.
"What are you-"
"Shh!" I hissed. I bent down and was facing him upside down. I kissed him deeply and smiled into the kiss. "Spider-Man kiss." I whispered against his lips.
"You're such a dork." He mumbled back. He leaned forward and kissed me again. "Promise you won't die please." He smiled sweetly.
"I'll try my love. I promise." I pulled away and walked to the door grabbing my jacket. "I love you!" I called out.
"I love you!" He responded.
Ever since I made Vi watch all three after movies with me we never say 'too' after we say 'I love you' Harden Scott ruined that for me. By the looks of it, it also ruined Vi. I got into my car and drove to the warehouse.
I parked across the street and eventually walked in. Blood drops were on the ground and they looked fresh. They weren't dried... fuck.
I walked around the entire building. I looked in every place I could. I heard voices from the entry point and I froze.
I pressed my body against the cold concrete wall and trained my ears to listen.
"Their looking for us. Actively. You do understand that right?" I heard a thick French accent speak. Atlas.
"I'm aware. But she won't be after me. I trained her to be a monster. With one thing taken she goes dark. It's that easy." Another man chuckled. Fuck fuck fuck, Grant.
Grant is the man Atlas works for. Fuck. I grabbed my phone and sent a text to Vi.
I put my phone on the ground and smashed it with my foot. He'll find me. I stepped out of the hallway I was standing in and grabbed my gun pointing it at both of them.
This is my only chance to get Atlas.
I fired only to miss. I never miss. I'm breaking. I fired another shot and it grazed Grant's shoulder. I shot another and it grazed his ear.
"Look at how grown up you are, Damara." Atlas smirked.
"Shut the fuck up." I hissed shooting his leg. I waisted my last bullet because he saw it coming and dove onto the ground.
When he stood back up he glanced behind me. I elbowed the man in the face and he tell to the ground. I grabbed a knife and pulled him in front of me.
Then I slit his throat.
"You wanted dark? You got me." I tilted my head to the side. "Quite frankly, I could do this all day. But I have better things to do. Like read, or plot the death of so many people who've wronged me, and yet. I'm here. Getting revenge on the man who murdered my parents and almost killed me." I laughed.
"I'm also here, for the man who trained me half way. He forced me to become a monster. And I despise him for that. But he did bring me the one person To ever love me for me into my life. I'll give that to you Grant." I winked.
I was pulled by my arm and forced against a hard chest. A cold rock hard chest. Evan.
"So sorry about this wonderful." He grumbled against my ear kissing my jawline.
That name. This man. His lips remotely close to me.
Revolting.
A cloth was pulled over my nose and mouth and I was forced to breath in. I felt my body give into the sedative and my legs were first to go. Then it went black.
I promised not to die.
I'll be damned if I break that god damn promise.
