Mike's POV:
"I won't let them," I tell Jeremy.
"They have to," he says.
"You're staying with me," I say taking his hand.
"You'll be okay, just take care of them," he holds my hand tightly.
"I don't want to lose you," I felt tears. I didn't want him to go.
"I must pay for what I did," he leans in and kisses me. The kids have already said goodbye, it was me now. I kissed him back.
"Take me with you," I pull away.
"They need a father," he was crying too.
"They have Chris," I say.
"Mike, they need you," Jeremy and I make eye contact.
"I can sneak you out right now," I suggest.
"Mike, stop, you'll be fine, I promise," he was afraid too. "I'll be out in a year or two."
"As soon as possible," I say.
"As soon as possible," he repeats. "I love you Mike."
"I love you too, Jeremy," I hug him. "And I don't want to lose you."
"I'll find you once I get out," he says.
"Hurry up you two, he needs to go," the policeman shouts through the door.
"I'll find you too, I'll stay here for as long as I have to," I say. "For you."
Jeremy hugs me tighter.
"I have to go," he says and pulls away. He opens the door and nods at the policeman. They leave. I look out the door to see Annie and Toby. They were crying to.
"Will he be back?" Annie asks.
"Yes," I say. "Let's go."

We went to court today. Jeremy has to go to jail for what he did. Alan is going to jail as well. But Jeremy will be out in a year it two, hopefully just one year.
"He'll be fine," Chris says putting a hand on my shoulder.
"You'll see him again," Phoneguy smiles.
"You'll be the only thing on his mind," Fritz adds.
"He won't ever forget you, he'll find you once he's out," purple guy says.
"You what I find funny? Our relationship," I say.
"What's so funny about your relationship with Jeremy?" They all ask.
"It all started with a party."
