They drive the few miles back to the hospital and walk inside.
"Hello again agents," welcomes the nurse who was behind the desk earlier.
"Hi, we were wondering if we could speak with Dr. Gill again?"
She nods her head, "yes of course, Agents. He is around here somewhere. If you would mind waiting a minute, I'll page him for you."
"Thank you," Dean says as he steps away from the desk and clears his throat again.
"Doctor Gill to the front desk. Doctor Gill to the front desk" goes over the intercom.
"He should be here in a minute," the nurse says as she hangs up the phone and walks away with some paperwork.
Sam and Dean stand in the main hallway against the wall, watching doctors and nurses do their jobs and the sick walking in through the doors.
Dr. Gill comes around the corner and finds the boys waiting for him. "Ah Agents, what can I do for you?"
"Doctor, we wanted to ask if you remember a patient named Maison Kennedy? She seems to be the first to die of this specific illness," Sam asks as the doctor shifts positions awkwardly.
"Ah yes, little Maison. I actually remember her case quite well because it was weird."
"What can you tell us?" Dean asks.
The doctor looks at Dean, "not much because of doctor-patient confidentiality but it was a different kind of case. Let me give my supervisor a call to see how much I can tell you," he says as he steps away from the boys.
"Doctor, you can tell us. Doctor-patient privilege only applies for a specific length of time, and we are looking into this case," Sam says stepping towards the doctor.
"You don't want to be charged with obstruction of justice, do you?" Dean asks as he leans against the wall, not making a move towards the doctor.
"Sorry Agents, but I have to make sure of that so I don't break any rules," Dr. Gill says as he turns and walks down the hallway.
"Well, that wasn't weird at all," Dean says as he moves to face Sam.
"He's hiding something," Sam says, "we should follow him. Let's go see if he is actually giving his supervisor a call."
Both boys walk down the hall following the doctor from a distance. Dean stops Sam as he almost takes the corner. "Hear that?" Dean asks Sam as they lean, hushed against the wall.
The doctor is standing outside his office door on the phone, "...yeah, two guys asked about Maison... okay okay, I won't," he says quietly as he steps into his office, the door closing behind him.
"Dammit," Dean mutters as he steps away from the wall.
"Yeah. So what now?" Sam asks as they walk back to the main doors.
"Bye! Have a great evening," the nurse says from behind the office desk, as Dean waves his hand goodbye.
"I'm not sure; go to the cemetery to do some bone burning? Because Maison definitely has a role in this."
"Yeah that works," Sam replies as they push through the door and the fresh, cool air meets their skin as the sun goes behind the trees. They hop into the Impala and make their way to the cemetery.
