Shimadzu Residence: Kuoh
No POV:
It was outside of the Shimadzu Residence where Y/N was busy practicing with her new phoenix powers that Suzaku the Vermilion Bird of the South had given her. After a few days of training Y/N had already became a pro at using her new power. She even figured out how she could combine both Suzaku's powers with Seiryu's powers, making her even more powerful.
"I always wondered what it felt like to throw fireballs around, now I know and it is really awesome" Y/N said to herself as she threw a ball of fire at a stone statue
"We've fought those who use fire but we never actually absorbed their power" Seiryu said
"Even then, all of their powers wouldn't be anywhere near as strong as these ones" Y/N said forming her sword and igniting the blade
"Y/N, I need to come inside for a minute" a voice said
Y/N turned around and saw her sister Mikata standing at the sliding door
"What is it?" Y/N asked
"It's important, now come inside" Mikata answered
"It sounds like its urgent" Seiryu said
"I'll be right in" Y/N said as she made her Sacred Gear vanish
"Whatever it is it better be important" Y/N said to Seiryu
Time Skip
Y/N POV:
I walked inside of the house and I began to look around for my sister, she wasn't in the kitchen or the dining room
"Mikata, where are you?" I asked out loud trying to find my sister
"I'm in the tea room" my sister called out to me
We hardly ever used the tea room, it was mostly a place for gatherings and important events. Mikata being in there and wanting to talk to me about something important in there was kind of odd. I didn't know what she wanted to talk to me about, I just wanted it to be over so I can go back to training and then see how Maya was doing. I walked into the tea room and saw Mikata pouring tea for both gram and gran as well as grandmother Kita and grandfather Ōbi.
"Y/N, come and sit down" grandmother Kita told me
"Why are all of you here?" I asked confused
"This is a very important meeting Y/N" Gran answered
I sat down traditionally as Mikata sat down next to me after pouring tea for everyone
"Y/N we've heard about your exploits in the underworld" Gram said
"Look, I know how you feel about devils and all that but they are my friends and they would never let some devil take my soul" I said standing up for my friends
"We do not care whom you decide to keep as friends, it is none of our concern unless they are bad influences to you" grandfather Ōbi said
"We only mentioned it because we are proud that you have shown the underworld and the other factions the skills of both the Shimadzu and Iga families" grandmother Kita said
