The Unknown Questions

IN THE PARKING LOT

There was silence all around as we stared at each other at a total loss of words.

" What are you talking about?", RM asked me with disbelief.

My voice caught up in my throat. I couldn't bring myself to talk as I was still a little dazed by the fact that THE RM of BTS read my book.

" We are here! ", came J Hope's voice, and the elevator door opened revealing all the other members along with Tony.

" You guys are still here? Good, cause I really wanted to steal Korie from you. We have so much to talk.", J Hope said locking his hand with mine but neither of us was in a position to talk.

" What happened to you guys? ", Suga asked noticing the tension in the air.

" She...she...", RM murmured pointing at me and for some reason, I felt cornered.

" What about her? ", asked Tony and I started to sweat. It felt like I was being accused of something.

" I did not do anything!", I defended myself.

" No! She is the one. She is Levina Littman.", RM pointed at me and I took a step back. My heart started to race. I had no idea why they were making such a big deal about it.

" She is not Levina Littman. She is Korie. Are you feeling alright?", Jimin asked placing a hand on RM's forehead but he swatted it away.

Suddenly the members gasped and started ranting

" Wait "

" No way! "

" You have got to be kidding me!"

" That can't be true."

" You are Levina Littman? As in the author RM has been dying to meet?", Suga exclaimed and Jimin and Tony gasped as they realised what Suga was talking about.

I shook my head, wondering if I heard him right!
RM was dying to meet me?
Why?

All the anxiety vanished away as my little brain started to fill up with confusion?

" Why ?", I asked and everyone turned to RM expecting him to answer but he wouldn't utter a word. He looked as if he was caught in a spell. Still as a statue .

" Go on RM. She is finally here. Tell her why you wanted to meet her.", Jin encouraged him but RM couldn't speak.

Everyone seemed to be excited and thrilled about the situation and yet RM couldn't do anything except standstill.
There was an awkward silence and finally, RM spoke up.

" We are getting late for the reservations. Let's go."

He sprinted away to the cars that were waiting for us.

I was a little taken aback. I looked around and I could see that everyone was equally perplexed.

" I will check upon him.", Jin said and ran after RM, so did V and Jimin.

I stood there, trying to figure out what just happened. It felt too weird and awkward.

" Maybe I should go back to my room. ", I spoke my thoughts out.

" Hey, come on. This dinner is supposed to be about you! ", Tony protested.

"Look I know. All this might sound weird but meeting you is a big deal for him. It's his story so he should be the one telling it but trust me he is really happy to meet you. Don't take it the wrong way.", Suga explained and I wanted to believe him but something inside me couldn't agree.
