Its Unfair. Is it?

1 DAY BEFORE CONCERT

Lying down on the floor drenched in sweat, I tried to catch a breath. There was a lot of hassle around me, but all the noise seem to be drowned as I fell into a spiral, trying to look at the beautiful night sky par the ceiling. I could see the stars from the spell-bound sky of that night on the rooftop. That night, the view got etched in my mind because of its enticing beauty and,

" Are you trying to look at the stars?"

RM.

Is it normal for someone to have the same thoughts as you? Is it even humanly possible? Every time he opens his mouth, it feels like he is taking words straight out of my mind. We are so similar yet different which makes it even more mesmerizing every damn time.

" How did you know?", I asked him though it had become quite normal for us to speak each other's thoughts.

" You both are soulmates after all.", came J Hope as he lay down beside me. We both just chuckled at the cute nickname given to the two of us.

It wasn't just us. Everyone was surprised by the parallelism between the two of us. Mr.Manager once teased us saying that we must have been soulmates or something in the life before and since then the boys have been calling us soulmates.

" Hmm. Do you prefer day or night, Hope?", I asked him curious.

" I prefer day.", he answered instantly.

" Aah. As expected of our sunshine.", I said punching him in the shoulder.

" Ani. It's more about fresh starts. Day resembles a fresh start while the night feels like an end.", he said.

" Waaah. I thought only Namjoon was poetic but looks like we have got two of you here.", I teased him.

Our voices echoed in the empty practice room with no one except for us three and Tony.

We have been practicing back to back at the main stage for the last few days. The concert being only 24hrs away, Tony let everyone rest up and so today's practice ended with the afternoon session. Tony had to stay back for work. I had nowhere to be in specific so I decided to stay back with Tony and work on my moves. RM and J Hope decided to accompany me even though I had pestered them to go and take rest. We practiced for like 20 minutes and since then we have been fooling around while Tony worked away.

" You guys should really rest. You need to save up some energy for tomorrow.", suddenly Tony came in walking, clicking on his clipboard.

" Tony's right. You guys should go.", I said elbowing the two.

" Look who's talking? You should go too.", RM said chuckling.

" Ani. I am just a backup dancer but you guys have to sing, dance, talk to the fans and so much more. You need to save up your energy more than anyone.", I said.

" You need rest too.", Tony said deadpan and the other two burst into laughter.

" All three of you. Go home. Now.", said Tony sternly, and not once did his eyes budge from the clipboard.

The two shut off immediately. That's how cold Tony's voice was. He has been like this since afternoon. I wonder if something has been bothering him.

" Okay then we will leave.", said J Hope as he pulled RM up.

" Okay. I will wait for Tony.", I told them.

" Korie. Can you go home by yourself today? I have something to deal with.",  Tony surprised all of us before walking back to his computer still focused on his clipboard.
