To say I was mad was an understatement. I was just about ready to kill Luke.
"You stay here. I'll go have a talk with Michael," Luke said, getting up and heading for the door.
"No. I'm leaving. Let me get some stuff and I'm going to go stay with Mady for a bit. I don't need to deal with you right now," I yelled.
I ran to my room and packed everything that I needed for about a week. I tossed my phone charger in as well as my wallet and headed back downstairs. Stomping past the living room, I saw Michael sitting in there with his head in his hands.
"Fuck you," I said before walking out the front door and slamming it behind me.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket and called Mady.
"Hey," she said.
"Mady, is it okay if I stay at your place for a while?" I asked, wiping at the tears that were running down my cheeks.
"Of course Gina," she said, "I'll drive over to your place right now."
"Don't worry. I'm driving to you."
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"It's complicated. I'll tell you what happened when I get there," I sighed.
"Okay. See you in a bit."
"Bye." I drove away from my house, tears still streaming down my face. How could Luke do that? I turned on All Time Low, and the first song that came on was Something's Gotta Give. That was enough to send me back into depression mode. But I refused to cry. I wouldn't give that one to Luke.
When I got to Mady's, I turned off my engine and just sat in my car for a couple minutes. For some reason I just froze. I couldn't move at all.
