Three Way Love (Dinah, Camila, And Lauren)

3: The Almost Kiss

Dinah's P.O.V: I was in the kitchen with Camila and Ally. I was rolling the dough and Camila was trying to open the can of tomato sauce. It was so cute how she struggled with the can opener. I had to help her. I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her from the back and opened the can using her hands. Once the top popped open she giggled. Music to my ears.

Camila: Thanks CheeChee.
Dinah: Welcome Chancho.

Even though I'm the youngest I still have to babysit the girls sometimes. Ally is the oldest but she has a bubbly and happy personality so she's never in a bad mood. Normani isn't that bad but sometimes she starts running around crazy. Lauren is the most calmest person in the group but when the other girls get her to do something she takes it a little too far. And Camila is honestly the craziest one. She's always running around doing god knows what. I'm not that good either. I'm always playing pranks and getting into trouble.

Ally: Is the pizza done?
Dinah: No Ally I still need to spread the sauce, then put it in the oven and put the toppings on.
Ally: Ughhhhh.
Camila: Ally your such a whiner. Is it ready yet?
Dinah: You two don't have no patients.
Camila: I don't have patients when it comes to pizza.

Camila whispered this in my ear and I felt a shiver run down my back. The way her warm breath hit my neck made me melt and I guess Normani noticed too.

Normani: Hey Dinah can I talk to you for a second?
Dinah: Sure. Mila spread the sauce and put it the cheese on it then put it in the oven.
Camila: Kk.

Normani grabbed my arm and dragged me to her room and closed the door. I have a feeling we're about to have a serious talk.

Normani: You need to tell Camila how you feel?
Dinah: Hell no. I'm not doing that.
Normani: Come on you've had a crush on her for how long? You need to tell her before somebody else snatches her up.
Dinah: I know but I'm scared. I mean what if she looks at me as a different person when I tell her. I don't want her to feel weird about it.

The last thing I ever wanted to do in my life was ruin my friendship with Camila. That would be absolute suicide. I love her too much to ruin our friendship. But I can't keep these feelings inside forever.

Normani: Dinah keeping your feelings inside is unhealthy for you. Lots of people fall into depression and go crazy when they hide their true feelings. Some commit suicide. I don't wanna see you on your death bed Dinah.
Dinah: And your not gonna. I'm gonna be fine. I just don't think I'm ready.

Normani had a few tears in her eyes and I knew one of them was gonna fall any second. I gently wiped the corner of her eye with my thumb and kissed her cheek and gave her a hug which she quickly returned. Normani can be the bossiest one of the group but other times, she's kinda like a baby.

Dinah: I'm gonna go get you some grapes and blanket. I'll be right back.

I went to the kitchen and saw Camila on her phone. The pizza was nowhere to be seen so I'm guessing it's in the oven. I decided to surprise her. I walked behind her and picked her up and she started screaming. I threw her over my shoulder and started spinning. Ally was laughing her head off.

Camila: Dinah stop I'm so serious.
Dinah: No we taking lift off.
Camila: DINAH!!!

I could tell she was upset so I sat her on top of the counter and she looked at me with a glare. I just snickered.

Camila: That wasn't funny.
Dinah: Oh come on I was just playing.

Camila turned her head to the side with her still glaring. To be honest she looked so sexy. Ugh what's my problem. I grabbed the grapes that Normani wanted and put them in a bowl. Camila was still glaring at me so I left kisses all over her face. Eventually she started laughing which gave me a warm feeling in my stomach. I picked her up with her legs wrapped around my waist and her arms locked around my neck as I had one arm wrapped around her back and the bowl of grapes in my other hand.

Ally: Y'all are too cute.
Camila: I know right.
Dinah: Ally call us when the timer is done so we can take the pizza out.
Ally: Ok Dinahsaur.

I smiled at my silly nickname and walked to Normani's room without a struggle. Camila is really light so it was easy to carry her. It was even more easier cause every room in the house is on one level. When I got to Normani's room, I sat Camila in the purple oval egg chair and gave Normani her grapes.

Camila: Chee Chee come here.

I sat next to Camila but because of my big hips she ended up getting squished so I pulled her into my lap and she leaned back into me. Normani smiled at us.

Normani: Caminah is real.
Dinah: Mani stop.
Camila: What's Caminah?
Normani: Caminah is the ship name the Harmonizers came up with for you and Dinah.
Camila: Awww I like it. It's cute just like Chee Chee.

Camila squeezed my cheeks and I immediately blushed.

Normani: I have to go to the bathroom. Have fun.

Normani smirked at me as she walked out the room and I hid my blush. Camila then turned to me and started talking.

Camila: I like that name. Caminah. We sound like a great couple.
Dinah: Yea we do.
Camila: I would obviously be the man of the relationship.

Camila flipped her hair.

Dinah: Hahahahahaha yea sure.
Camila: I can be masculine.
Dinah: Your too soft Mila. I would obviously be the masculine one.
Camila: So I'm not strong?
Dinah: No you are, but your just too delicate.
Camila: I'm more dominant than you think.

The look in Camila's eyes showed me a new side of her that I've never seen before. She's always so delicate and fragile but right now she's looks dominant and fiery. We were so close to each other, nearly centimeters apart. My eyes went from her lips to her eyes and back down to her lips. I saw her smirk and saw her lean in. I was leaning in too. This might be the day I actually kiss Camila. But this would be her first kiss. Oh no. We were just about to kiss when the door opened.

Lauren: Hey guys the pizza is done-what's going on here?
Camila: Um um uh she had something on her lip.
Lauren: Caminah is real.
Camila: Lauren!!!

Lauren then ran out the room with Camila running after her and leaving me dumbfounded at what almost happened. I almost kissed Camila.
