14: For Mila!

Lauren's P.O.V: It's been a few days after we got the news from Simon about the whole Austin agreement and it was terrible. Our management said that Austin would have to hang around us more and him and Camila had to show extra affection out in public and when their with us. It's sick. The cheek kisses, the subtle touches, the hand holding. It was like I was locked in a prison and I could tell that the girls were feeling the same way as I did. Whenever Austin and Camila were affectionate, Ally would look the other way. Normani would go to another area and Dinah would send a glare at them. I know it annoyed her the most cause that's her bestfriend, "flirting", with the boy who hurt her. Shit anybody would feel the same way as her. I've been trying to hold up, but everytime I see them being all affectionate I leave and go to my secret room to write in my journal and my songbook.

The fans still didn't think it was believable. Most of the Harmonizers thought that Austin is trying to be a fuckboy and get in Camila's pants while the Mahomies thought that Camila was just trying to get some of Austin's good publicity for herself. I have to admit that our Harmonizers really do not like Austin at all and with a passion. I know this because I'm currently scrolling through Twitter looking at the tweets under a post of Camila and Austin that Austin posted.

I was cracking up at these tweets and how much the Harmonizers hate Austin. It put me in a better mode knowing that there's people, other than the girls, that hate Austin just as much as I do. It gave me a warm feeling in the pit of my stomach. All of us were in the break room about to have a interview with 97.1 Radio. We were all excited but Mr.Fuckboy was also with us. He's also getting interviewed with us because Camila and Shawn Mendes have been hanging out a lot and they wanted Austin to join the interview to set that straight. I'd much rather have Shawn fake date Camila over Austin. At least he can actually explain what he likes about her while dorito boy can only say she's cute and pretty. Shawn why are you so successful?

"Lolo can we talk for a minute." I heard a small voice ask me. I looked up from my screen and saw Camila with a slight frown on her face and I knew something was up. I put my phone down and pulled her to sit next to me on the couch. I may not like her and Austin but she was still my bandmate, my friend and my crush so I had too.

"What's wrong?" I asked looking at her with concern. She kept playing with her fingers for a few seconds.

"With this whole fake dating thing, I feel like you guys are isolating yourselves from me and it's really noticeable. You can see it in interviews, performances, everything. And the fans are getting suspicious too." Camila kept her eyes glued to her hands, avoiding eye contact with me. It hurt to see how effected she was by our annoyance to Austin and her faking it. And assumption that were trying to exclude ourselves from her is true but not because we have disgust towards her, but because we have disgust towards Austin.

"Listen Camz, were not isolating ourselves from you. We are not trying to make you feel like we are appalled by you. We just don't like the thought of you and Austin near eachother. Trust me, we wouldn't be acting like this if he wasn't here".

As I said these words, Camila's face softened. I knew she was starting to understand that our behavior wasn't because of her, but because of her ex. But now I know that me and the girls have to hide our hate towards Austin and show Camila that were not gonna let some boy get between us who she's not even dating.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and brung her into a side hug. "Just know that it's not because of you" I then kissed her cheek and soon saw them turn a shade of red.
