6: Mister Steal Our Girl

Lauren's P.O.V:
"Mani we need to talk."
"Ok let's go talk at the snack bar."

Me and Mani got outta the water leaving Ally alone which wasn't long cause Camila came running back. Me and Mani sat at the snack bar. I'm gonna figure out what's going on with Dinah and Camila.

"So what's up?" she asks playing with her wet hair.
"What's up with Camila and Dinah lately?" I ask more as a mumble. Normani looks at me and back to the beach.
"Nothing." She says plainly. I can tell she's hiding something cause she always tries to avoid people's eyes when she's keeping something from them.
"Mani don't lie to me." I say looking straight at her.
"Why you wanna know so bad? They probably just like being around each other." Mani says challenging me. I smile weakly and continue to talk.
"It's just- ok listen. You can't tell anybody I told you this. Ok?" I ask and Mani nods her head. "I saw Camila and Dinah about to kiss yesterday." I say and Mani's eyes went big.
"Your kidding right?" She says a little bit more excited than shocked.
"Yea they was leaning in and then I walked in."
"Listen nothing is going on with them. You know how touchy Camila is." She says putting her hand on my wrist and giving me a small smile.

Normani may be right, but it just doesn't feel right. I know there's more to Camila and Dinah. I just can't wait around to find out.

Me and Mani went back over to where the girls were and saw Dinah and Camila running away from Ally. Ally had a bucket of water in her hands and I could tell where this was going.

"Ally chill!" Dinah says laughing.
"Nah y'all wanna play games so let's play."Ally says trying to throw water on Camila.
"It was Dinah's idea!" Camila says pointing at Dinah.
"Really your just gonna sell me out like that?"
"Sorry CheeChee ahhhhhhh!"

Ally had thrown the water on Camila while she wasn't looking and now she's even wetter than she was before, and I think I might be wet in a minute. Camila looked even beautiful than she already was. The little droplets of water on her stomach glistened making her 4 pack stand out. Her hair now dark and damp which makes her look so fierce. And not to mention she bites her lip often and those legs. I think I'm gonna die.

"Gotcha suckas!" Ally says jumping up and down.
"No fair. I wasn't ready."
"Too bad." Ally says sticking her tongue out.
"Now I'm even more wet." Camila says wiping the water out of her eyes.
"And more beautiful."

We all turned around and saw the one and only Austin Mahone. He was standing there smiling at Camila like an idiot. Camila didn't say anything just kept staring at him. Normani and Ally were looking at the ground and Dinah and I were just glaring at him. We don't like Austin at all. Ever since he did that interview and said his relationship with Camila wasn't real, we've all stopped hanging with him. He really did hurt Mila. I remember holding her while she watched the interview. It was heartbreaking. Tears were falling from her eyes and everything. And from that day we all told ourselves we would keep Mila away from Austin.

"Thanks Austin." Camila said smiling weakly and then looking at the ocean.
"What are you doing here Austin?" Normani asked finally coming out of her trance and standing next to Camila.
"I'm with my friends. They wanted to come to the beach. I promise I wasn't stalking you." He says chuckling jokingly.
"That's great to know. You could go now." I say fake smiling.
"Oh right. Well I actually wanted to talk to Camila if you don't mind." He says kinda scared. He should be scared. I really wanna beat the shit outta him.
"Well we do mind. Sorry." Dinah says stepping in front of Camila and going up to Austin.
"We can talk."
"What?" I asked confused.
"Huh?" Normani says.
"I beg you a pardon?" Ally says.
"Excuse me?" Dinah says. We look at Camila and she's looking at the ground.
"We can talk Austin. Don't worry guys I'll be ok." Camila starts walking up to Austin but I grab her arm and make her face me. "If he does anything just yell for us ok?" I say.
"Ok" Camila whispers, hugs me and then walks off with Austin.

Me and the girls just keep watching them walk off until they get a good distance away from us and they start talking. I look back at the girls and see that they all are watching them too

"What do you think their talking about?" Ally asks not taking her eyes off them.
"He's probably trying to get her to take him back. Be we not gonna let that happen." Normani says with and edge to her voice.

I look at Dinah and see her glaring at Austin and Camila. She looks so pissed off. I put my hand on her shoulder and she looks down at me.

"Dinah you alright?" I asked concerned. Her face softens and she hugs me.
"I'm fine Lolo I just don't want Mila talking to that douche." She says sending a mean glare at Austin who's to busy talking to Camila to notice.
"Don't worry D. I don't want her talking to him either. I hate him. But we're gonna keep her from going back to him. Ok?" I say holding both her hands.
"Ok. Thanks Lolo." She says smiling and hugging me.
"No problem bebita."

After a few minutes of watching them we went back to the water and started splashing water at each other. Normani jumped on my back and made me go underwater. Once I got back up to the surface I sent her a glare and she just laughed.

"I'm gonna end you Kordei." I say swimming up to Normani.
"No get away!" She yells laughing and trying to push me away but I wrap my arm around her waist and dive under the water and swim back up a couple seconds after.
"Lauren! Don't do that!" She yells glaring at me.
"Then don't mess with me." I smirk.
"Don't worry ManiBear!" I hear Ally say and then a bunch of water hit me in the face. I opened my eyes and saw Ally and Normani highfiving each other. I smiled.

We continued our little fun and we even dunked Dinah underwater. I went back onto the sand with Dinah and started talking to her.

"Hey is something going on with you and Camila?" I asked.
"What do you think is going on?" She says smirking at me.
"You answer my question first."
"Nothings going on with us. I don't even know what your talking about."
"Well it's just that you and her are a little closer than the rest of us." I say shyly.
"Lo what are you trying to say?" She asks with a confused look.
"I saw you and Camila-" I was cut off by a voice.
"Can we go home now?" Camila says with her arms folded and looking at the ground.
"What happened Mila?" I asked concerned. I put my hand on her shoulder but she moved away from me.
"N-Nothing, can we just go?"
"Alright come on." I grab her hand and take her to the umbrella we put up and put our clothes on and head back to the car while Dinah gets Ally and Normani. I grab me and Mani's stuff and head to the car with Camila.

Once we got inside the car, Camila rested her elbows on her knees and put her head in her hands. I put my arm around her and started whispering into her ear.

"Camz what happened?"
"I don't wanna talk about it." She mumbles.
"Camila please I don't like seeing you upset." I say geuinely. It's true I don't like seeing her upset.
"It's Austin." As soon as I heard that my blood began to boil.
"What did he do?" I say with an edge in my voice.
"He- he. I just don't wanna talk about it right now Lauren please." Mila looks up at me with pleading glossy eyes. I immediately pull her into me and wrap my arms around her while caressing her hair. She wraps her arms around my waist. I kiss the side of her head. "Your ok Mila." I say.

Everybody gets to the car and turn their attention to Mila and me. I tell them she doesn't wanna talk about it and Ally starts to drive. Dinah grabs Mila's hand and sits closer to her and Mila squeezes her hand. Dinah then puts her arm around Mila and we both hug her. I bet the only thing on both of our minds was "What did Austin do to Camila?".
