8: Camila's Two Choices

Camila's P.O.V: I can't really move right now. The news of fake going out with Austin is still in my mind and it's sounding worse and worse the more I think about it. But that's not the reason I can't move. I'm here cuddled up with Lauren, who I'm guessing fell asleep holding me. I loved the feeling of being cuddled up against Lauren. She smelled like strawberries with a mixture of almond. She's so captivating. I watch as she breaths steadily and softly as she sleeps. The way her chest rises and falls with every breath is so cute.

"I know your watching me Camz." She says with a smirk on her face but her eyes were still closed. I pretended that I was still sleeping but that was interrupted when I felt her lips on my cheek which were dangerously close to the corner of my mouth.

"Dammit. I didn't wanna wake you up." I say genuinely. Lauren smiles and grins at me.

"It's ok Camz I was up already. I just didn't want to wake you up so I rested my eyes for a bit." She said pulling me closer to her. I snuggled more into her warmth and hid my face in her neck. I love being this way with Lauren. The close proximity of our bodies. Her protective but comforting grip around my body. The peaceful silence. It was a bliss for me and her. We wouldn't change it at all.

"Oh. Well aren't you hungry?" I played with the baby hairs on the back of her neck.

"Starving but I knew if I left the room you would wake up and feel like shit." It's almost like she could read my mind. It's so weird how Lauren could just look at me and know everything that I'm thinking or feeling just from that one glance. But at the same time, I kinda love it. It lets me know she pays attention to every detail of me, my appearance, and my feelings.

"Well thanks for the cute gesture. I'm glad you stayed with me." I grabbed Lauren's hand and smiled earning a smile back. Her smile could light up the night. Literally. I got up and went down the stairs to the kitchen and saw Normani, Dinah, and Ally making breakfast and bobbing their heads to the music that was playing from the radio. Dinah looked up from her phone and a smiled immediately appeared on her face when her eyes set on me. She walked up to me and hugged me tight, her arms squeezing around my waist and I wrapped my arms around her neck, enjoying the hug.

"Morning Chancho." I hear Dinah mumble as her lips press against my forehead and linger for a second before retreating. "Morning CheeChee." Dinah let go of my waist and sat back down at her seat which I followed her to and sat in her lap. Dinah wrapped her around my waist protectively but still managed to keep her eyes on her phone in her other hand. Being this close to Dinah really does mess with my control system.

"Hey Mila, you feeling ok? You didn't talk to us after you finished talking to Austin." Ally said as she was chopping up some strawberries to put in her smoothie.

"Yea you alright Mils?" Normani chimed in turning her attention away from the pancakes that were in the pan to give me a concerned look.

I could tell Dinah was on edge by the name of Austin. I felt her arm tighten around my body slightly and her breath hitch. But I still made an effort to answer their questions.

"I'm fine I was just a little uneasy being around him." I said trying not to make it sound like I was lying. Ally quirked her eyebrow up at me like she wasn't believing what I was saying. "You sure Mila?"

"Guys if she doesn't wanna talk about it just leave her alone. She'll talk about it when she's ready, right Mils?" Dinah spoke up and looking at me with expecting eyes. I nodded my head and said "Yea I just need some time." Normani and Ally turned their attention back to preparing the food and I just played with my fingers and tried to keep myself from over thinking things. "Your welcome Chancho." I hear Dinah mumble softly in my ear as she leans up against me. I love how close our bodies are and I could feel her body heat and her warm and bubbly personality radiating off her body. Like it's a protective shield over me.

"Thanks CheeChee." I mumble back and lay my head in the crook of her neck taking in her sweet scent which smelled like apples and roses. I really wish I didn't have feelings for both Dinah and Lauren because then it would be easier for me to figure out who I want most. But they both have something about them that I like. Lauren is so fierce and sexy in public, but when she's alone she's the sweetest girl anybody could ever meet. Dinah is caring and bubbly but then there's that fire in her eyes, in her hair, in her movements that make her look so gorgeous. She's like a goddess.

"Buenos dias mis amores." I hear a husky voice say from the other side of the room and immediately know that it's The green eyed princess herself. I turn my head and I'm immediately met with the beautiful Lauren Michelle Jauregui. Her green eyes a shade lighter as she ran her hand threw her hair moving it so it looks like it does every time we have a performance.

"Mañana Lauren." Normani and Ally say in unison which is followed by their giggles. "Morning planet green eyes." Dinah says not taking her eyes off the screen of her phone.

"Morning to you too D-Mac." Lauren finally looks at me and smiles. I smile back and bite the inside of my cheek to keep myself from blushing. I got off of Dinah's lap, missing the warmth she gave off, and went into Lauren's arms and then the warmth wasn't gone anymore. "We already had our exchange of good mornings." She says with a small grin on her face and her eyes looking down into mines. "I know I just felt like hugging you." I say snuggling more into her as I heard her chuckle.

"Here. You forgot your phone in the room. Plus it kept buzzing while I tried to catch some more sleep." Lauren said handing me my phone. I took my phone and apologized for waking her up and she said it was ok with an occasional wink that made my heart flutter. Out of the corner of my eye, I coulda swore I saw Dinah glaring at us but I just shrugged it off, maybe I was seeing things. I turned my phone on to see what was causing the buzzing that woke Lauren up and was immediately hit by a wave of disappointment, thinking it was gonna be something better than what it was.

"New Message from Austin: Meet me and my manager @ Universal Republic Records in the board room. We need to clarify something's. Sorry."
