Marinette in Danger

Adrien POV:

OMG. I can't believe I forgot. I have to tell Marinette that Chloe and I aren't friends anymore. Not after the things she did to Marinette. So I decided to text her.

AA: Marinette, there's something I forgot to tell you when we were out earlier

M: What is it, Adrien?

AA: I forgot to tell you that I'm not friends with Chloe anymore. The things she did to you were too horrible for me to forgive and then she lied to me about it. So, I ended my friendship with her

M: Wow. I can imagine that that was hard for you Adrien. You know you didn't have to end your friendship with her because of me

AA: That was only part of the reason

M: What was the other part?

AA: She was being a terrible person to other people too. It was the best thing for me to end our friendship. I didn't want that energy in my life anymore

MM: Wow. I guess if you really feel that way, then maybe it's for the best

AA: Yeah, I think it is

M: I'm glad you told me, but are you gonna tell Chloe?

AA: I already did. She understands now that I won't put up with her crud anymore

M: Wow, I can't believe it. I'm just glad that you're emotionally okay babe

AA: Babe?

M: We are dating now, aren't we?

AA: Yeah. That's true. Well, is there anything else you want to talk about?

M: I don't think so

AA: Well, if you're sure, then I should go practice my piano *sad emoji*

M: You really don't like playing piano do you?

AA: Yeah, I only do it because my dad forces me to. But after we graduate, I won't play anymore. I won't model anymore. I'll be my own person. Figure out what it is that I want to do in life. I might run my own company someday. A company where I can help people as much as possible.

M: I think that's a great idea

AA: You really think so?

M: I know

AA: Well, I better go before father becomes furious with me for not practicing my piano

M: Okay. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble with your father

AA: I love you Marinette

M: I love you too Adrien

Marinette POV:

I feel so bad for Adrien. His father is making him do things that he doesn't want to do. No one deserves to live that kind of life. No one deserves to have their lives planned out for them. I just wish there was something I could do for him to make his life better. But, I guess all I can do right now is just be here for him and support him. I looked down at my phone sadly.

"What's wrong Marinette?" Tikki asked me.

"Oh. It's nothing Tikki. It's just that Adrien's father hasn't taken his feelings into account at all. He keeps making Adrien do things that he doesn't want to do. Adrien deserves to live his own life. He doesn't deserve to have his whole life planned out for him. I love him so much but there's nothing that I can do about his father."

"Oh, I'm sorry Marinette."

"It's okay, Tikki. I'll be okay. I just worry about Adrien and I need to know if he's doing okay emotionally. This kind of life has to be really hard for him."
