“Just be careful, Brian. You don’t want to get too involved with a fan, just to have to end it when this week is over, and you both go your separate ways.” advised Holden as he sat on the sofa of the lobby with Mere and Dylan. Also in the lobby, awaiting to explore the park, was Jim, Julia, Rob, Joe, Tessa, and Denise.

“What if there’s something here that could last?” Rosenthal blurted as he stood up from the armchair he was sitting in. Rosenthal was now getting annoyed, ever since dinner last night Holden had been on him about his flirtations with Bridgette.

“1. you just met her, and 2. I just don’t want anyone to get hurt. I’m not trying to be rude, Brain.” You could tell by his voice that Holden felt badly about how he came across.

“No, man, it’s cool. I just, I don’t know, being around Bridgette- I’ve never felt this way before. I know I just met her, and she is younger, and she’s a fan.” Rosenthal was now pacing back and forth beside the coffee table. Just than Sam and Laura walked into the lobby, with Bridgette right behind them. She had the most beautiful smile, and bright hazel eyes, which made Brian at a loss for words.

“Hey everyone!” said Laura, as she walked closer she fully realized that she was going to Universal with the ones from Team StarKid. Mere motioned for the three girls to come sit down with them so they could ll talk about the plan for today.

“Good morning again, Bridgette.” smiled Brian as he reached out to give Bridgette a hug before she sat down. Bridgette’s face turned a bright shade of pink that she was trying, but not succeeding, in hiding.

“Well, now that we are all here, is there any place that you girls definitely want to go to, or have never been to?” asked Julia as she turned towards Bridgette, Sam, and Laura. Julia seemed like the organizer of the group, not that the others weren’t, but Julia always gave of this aura of leadership.

Before either of the girls could speak up, Dylan jumped in “And don’t be modest, most of us have been to Universal, we all went back in 2011 during that LeakyCon.” The group all nodded in agreement. The three girls paused and looked at each other trying to see who would talk first, finally Laura spoke up, “We’ve all had this same discussion online about where to go and what to do. I’ve been to Universal once before, but stayed in Islands of Adventure because it seemed a lot more interesting. Sam has never been to either park, and Bridgette-”

“I have only been here in Florida once before with my senior class trip.” Bridgette interrupted, “When we came, they gave us one day in Universal and Islands of Adventure, but the group of girls I was with walked all over me that week, and we only went where they wanted to go. I can be- no, used to be such a pushover.” She put her head down again, ashamed at the girl she used to be. Bridgette spent most of her time in high school just following people around, never being her own person, or finding her own voice and opinions.”

In attempts to break the tension Denise interjected, “So ,we should start with Islands. The Studios side is always better at night anyway, and then from there we can meet up with the others to go in to Open at the Close.”

“Sounds like a great plan to me!” Sam said with a smile. She was excited just to being going to Universal at all, she had never been that lucky to go to big places like this. It was even a dream come true just to be at LeakyCon. They all grabbed their belongings to headed out to the bus that would take them to Universal.
