Something Better - Hope Mikaelson [DISCONTINUED]

I know it has been a long time since I've updated this story, and sadly, this isn't an update but more an announcement. I've decided to discontinue Something Better. I started writing this story as season five of The Originals aired on the CW, as I fell in love with Danielle Rose Russell's portrayal of Hope Mikaelson very quickly. I loved Eleanor and the character she became, and the relationship I was able to write between her and Hope. I tried to keep it as realistic as I could for a relationship between two teenagers living the lives that they live. 

I loved the other characters I was able to create with this story, and the trio I made with Jacob, Ashton and Waverly. I added in other characters I was going to use for other Legacies fics, and link all of these stories together, but as Legacies has went on a lot of plans and inspiration I had has changed. Plans I had won't work any longer, things I did in the past no longer make any sense, and as much as I've tried to write a new chapter for this story, I just haven't been able to. I don't want to force chapters and post something I'm not happy with.

At some point in the future, I might come back and rewrite this story, and finish Eleanor's story completely. But for right now, this is the end of Something Better. Let me know if you'd like to know how I think Hope and Eleanor's story would have ended, as I do still know how I would have ended this story. 

I am sorry to anyone disappointed with this decision, and I thank you all so much for the love and support you showed Something Better.
