"Hope, this is a bad idea. In fact, this is the worst idea in the history of bad ideas."

Hope rolled her eyes. "I'll heal, Ellie. It's fine."

"That's not why this is a bad idea." Eleanor responded, sending her a flat look.

The two girls had been going back and forth for an hour, both of them arguing for and against their current plan. Hope, who was acting extremely stubborn on the matter, was trying to assure Eleanor that the plan was foolproof. Eleanor was trying to point out all the obvious flaws with it.

"He wants to do it!" Hope argued. "It's Henry's choice."

"It's also his choice that is going to get us expelled!" Eleanor snapped back, running a hand through her hair in frustration. "Hope, he is talking about killing himself and becoming a hybrid. Nothing against hybrids, but this is crazy! He's just a kid."

Hope sighed, as she listened to the points Eleanor had made at least ten times. Maybe she was right, but Hope had her reasons for going through with this, and she thought Eleanor understood. Hell, she'd even offered Eleanor in on her plans, promising her something that may benefit her too. And even though she'd agreed at first, she was now going back over it all in her head, and he decision had changed very quickly.

"We need the money if we want to go." The Mikaelson teen told her bluntly.

"We can get the money another way." The Carter witch tried to rationalize. "We can, uh, sell some stuff. Clothes, shoes...old class essays to the younger kids. I don't know! Something other then this creepy black market type stuff."

Hope looked at her, and Eleanor sighed, knowing what the look meant. They sat in silence in their shared room, cross legged on Hope's bed, staring at one another. Eleanor knew why this meant to much to Hope, and they did have plans for the money this would get them, but how they were getting the money was weighing heavy on Eleanor's shoulders.

Picking up the pair two glass vials that laid in front of them in one hand, she picked up the pair of scissors. "Do it..." She sighed, watching a smile stretch across the face of her best friend. "I'm not happy about this, Hope, but it's your blood. It's your choice."

Hope leaned forward and pulld Eleanor into a tight hug, which the Carter girl returned without any issues. The two girls had one rule in their friendship, that they had stuck to ever since they met. No matter what stupid decisions they make, they would stick by one another through it all. Taking the scissors, Hope began to drag the blade across her wrist, flinching at the pain. Eleanor squeezed her eyes shut, holding the vial underneath her wrist to catch the blood, trying not to look at the cut she'd made.

"Is he going to give us the amount we need?" Eleanor asked, opening one eye to look at her.

"With his money, the money we both have between us already, we should be set." She nodded. "All we have to do is make sure the location I have for him is right. It was France, last that I heard, but I want to be sure. I don't want this to be a waste."

"Look, Hope, are you sure this is gonna go your way?" Eleanor asked the question on her mind, that she hadn't been brave enough to ask before. "It's been five years..."

"I have to try." She answered determinedly. "And if it is a waste of time, then that's fine. I have you, I have my Mom, Kol, Rebekah, Freya... I'll get over it."

She was skeptical of the answer, but Ellie nodded all the same. "Alright."

************

The two girls were nervous, even Hope, despite how willing she was to go through with this. Eleanor had made her well aware of the consequences this plan could have, and there was still a chance they could get caught doing the exchange.
