Adeena's Pov
"Okay, guys, we're here." Lily announced."Let's get this party -" Hannah started.
"Started!" Jüri finished.
We all got up and started to get out of the car one by one.
"Ouch shit!" Oscar put his hand up to his head. I looked up at him, and I realised that he got his head on the top of the car while he was getting out. I started laughing.
"Guess it's not fun being that tall, huh?"
"Yeah, haha. At least I can reach the top shelf." He retorted and stuck his tongue out at me.
"Fin- ah fish!" I slipped, but luckily Oscar caught me... by the waist. "Er, thanks." I smiled.
"Not so confident now, huh?" He raised an eyebrow.
"As if." I started catching up with Lily.
"So... is see some tension between you and Oscar." She teased, wiggling he eyebrows.
"Shut up." I rolled my eyes at her, hoping she wouldn't see me blush.
"You're blushing." She whispered.
"Go annoy your boyfriend or something."
"Fine." She wined.
"Hey guys! Welcome! I'm Danny, Oscar's friend." A guy just a bit taller than me with brown hair opened the door. "Come on in." He waved us into the house, and we all said hello, and thanks while we passed him. Oscar said he was going to catch up with some old friends, so I was alone since they all left to start getting drinks.
It was about an hour into the party. I still haven't drank anything yet since I knew I was probably the only one who could make sure they all got back home safely. I sat on the couch on my phone, checking up on our assignments.
"Hello 大姐." Lucas and Guanyu suddenly appeared next to me.
(Big sister.)"What do you want?" I turned and looked at him.
"Nah, ah ah. Speak in Chinese. This is the only time we can practice."
"好好... 你要什么?" I rolled my eyes.
(Yea, yeah... What do you want?"Nothing, he just came to annoying you." Guanyu said.
"In that case, you guys should go dance, yeah?" I could clearly tell they were wasted.
"Hey."
"Lucas go- oh Oscar, hey. Fancy seeing you here...and sober?"
"Just one drink; the rest of the guys are just drunk. I left them to come here since you looked sober."
"Yeah, I decided to play the mom again." I turned my phone off.
"I can play the dad. Wait, no, I didn't mean it like that." He blushed as he realised what he said.
"It's fine. I'm just wanna go back and watch a movie or something. Not really a sociable person, you know?"
"Yeah, definitely. I'm not really that sociable either. So tell me about yourself." He looked at me.
"Well, my mom, brother, and sister are in Singapore to finish their primary school. My dad is in Australia. I love grapes and tangerines. I like to plant my own plants. I used to do them with my grandmother back in Australia before I went to university. I like Harry Potter, percy Jackson. That's basically it."
"What do you want to be after you finish your whole university?"
"Well, I really hope my course can help me to become a scientist since I took that course. Maybe an archaeologist or palaeontologist? Biochemist? Things that can allow me to carry out science and discover things."
"That's really cool. I want to do those things as well." I looked at him with my eyebrows raised. "Probably not. Racing is more my thing. Anyways I think we should start getting the rest and head back? They all stay in the same hotel."
"Yeah, let's start to get going. "
We ended up spending half an hour getting all of them. We called 2 cabs and squeezed in Oscar, and I were the sober . Lily and Alex were the almost sober ones, so Alex and Oscar took care of one, and Lily and I took care of the other.
We all got the rest to their rooms and got so tired that we ended up crashing at Alex and Lily's room... At least that's what I thought. I was the first one to sleep...
