A/N-
SORRY
So I just realised that the 2  chapters I had published actually weren't published on my old phone, and I just changed my phone today. I lost all my drafts, and 2 chapters weren't published, so I will need some time to continue writing what I have missed, but here is a short chapter that is part of the plot

Adeena's POV

Today was another day in university, just that I had work later on.

I grabbed my keys to the retal car that Aamaya rented for the week and headed out to get my friends.

I still had no reply from Oscar if you were wondering.

~

"Adeena, you will partner Shawn for this project. The both of you would need to hand it in by tomorrow."

"B-" I tried to protest.

"No buts Adeena, you are going to need help you still have to get to your job after this."

"B- Fine." I sighed.

"Seriously, Shawn?" I mumbled under my breath, walking out the classroom. Of course, out of all people, it just had to be Shawn, didn't it?

"I heard that! What's wrong with me?" Shawn asked as he walked out of the classroom behind me.

What's so wrong with partnering Shawn? You might ask, well the last time we had a partner work, I did everything, but we both ended up getting As, which is bullcrap.

"Whatever. Where do you want to go? " Shawn asks. "For the project?"

"Ah, yeah. Er, I'll be off work at 5 pm so we can meet for dinner and discuss it there at a cafe or something." I said, packing my things up.

"I'll reserve a restaurant for the both of us. My cousin owns one near here."

"Yeah, whatever is fine. I'll get going now."

~

I got off worked and checked my messages for the restaurant's location. Whole I was scolling, I scolled past Oscar's contact to see if he had replied to me yet, but of course... he didn't. I came to the conclusion that he ghosted me.

Whatever.

I reached the location in about 15 minutes and started getting to work.

We had the table at the high chairs near the batistas.

I kept checking my phone once in a while, like what I have been doing the past few days to check if Oscar had replied yet.

Shawn groaned. "We have been working for too long. I'm bored. Can we talk about something? Holidays, maybe?"

"I know... Why do you keep on looking at your phone? Oh, I know! Aamaya told me about you meeting a guy during the holidays. What happened?"

"Do. your. work." I demanded, trying to avoid the conversation.

"We've already finished, relax. Here, I'll pay for everything, if you tell me." I knew he was just trying to avoid doing any work, but I was kind of getting tired, too.

Free food sounds good, and I kind of left my wallet at the school...

"Well, it all started when I broke up with my former boyfriend..."

~

"Yeah, we had a great time, and I thought he did, too, but I guess not.  Because every since came, he hasn't replied any of my text. He just ghosted me..." I shrugged my shoulders, acting unborthered.

"Sounds like a jerk." I heard a familiar, aussie voice.

"I know, right?" Shawn agreed, sipping on his orange juice.

I turned around slowly and met the eyes that were once staring at me during the days in Monaco.

"Oscar?" I stared at him in shock.

"Wait, he's that jerk? I mean Oscar? Oh my gosh... You guys are meant to be. I mean, you guys reutine again; it's like a romance story." Shawn looked from Oscar to me and back again, his mouth wide open.

Not a good time, Shawn. Seriously.

"Hi."
