I'm Adeena Williams. Chinese name, Diayu. Korean name, and real name, Su-Jin. And this is my TRUE life story. No lies, that I have been telling everyone. Just the truth.
I was born in Australia on the 18th of August 2001 to Hunter Williams and Park Da-Eun. I was the youngest in the family having a sister who is older than me by 4 years, Dal-Rae.
2 months later I was brought back to Korea till I was 5.
Till my mother abandoned me...
2 "strangers" picked me up on the road and ever since then has taken me as one of own.
These two "strangers" were my uncle and auntie in law. Joanna Kwan Jie Ying, my mom, and Kai Williams, my dad.
My dad had informed them about what my mother was planning to do. And made a plan with them.
They had just lost their very first child in an accident. However, they still treated me as good, or even better than real parents would. I even had a younger brother, Jake, who was 3 years younger than me.
They all welcomed me into the family even Jake who was always very clingy with me.
And I will forever be greatful for that.
"Jake, say hi to your new sister." Mom said cheerfully.
"Jie!" A young boy ran up to me, tripping on his legs a few times, before hugging me.
We lived in Singapore for half a year before we moved to Japan till I was 9.
We moved there for a few reasons.
My father had to work there for quite awhile
We were convincing my grandparents to move to Singapore because my mother could at least take care of them there.Convincing my grandparents took a really long time, at least 2 years, before they agreed.
"Hello, Adeena. Do you like peanuts?" My grandfather asked as he eyed the peanuts on my plate.
My grandmother smacked him on the back of his head which caused him to retreat and me to laugh out loudly.
"Good one popo!" I then looked at my grandfather. "I like peanuts, Gong Gong! Don't steal them! "
My Father's job in Japan had taken about 4 years.
After 4 years we moved back to Singapore. Which was also around the time Mikayla was born and 2 years later, Jeraiah.
I stayed in Singapore for most of my life at least till I was 19.
My father had to be in Australia most of the time because of work so we would go there to visit him and my grandmother.
"Woah." I looked around my grandmother's garden in amazement.
I turned around with a huge smile to my grandmother, who had a soft smile on her face.
