This is now my whole world

It's 4 years later. I sit in a cafe. But this one is different. Instead of a quite atmosphere of my old town, outside are the congested streets of New York. What am I doing here? Am I visiting? No, I live in a small apartment. I moved here after I found out I got denied any other place except for New York Academy of Art. I wanted to study architecture, but instead ended up doing an art course.

What happened to everyone else? Demi got into Harvard and is studying biology, which her parents didn't expect at all, but she pretty much just ditched them for a Harvard dorm. They wanted her to do law or medicine. We talk all the time over phone or email and sometimes meet up in our hometown. Some of her newest news is that she is engaged to Evan! He also went to Harvard. He is on sports scholarship.Their wedding will be next fall. She has been emailing me with a bunch of different ideas for the wedding because I'm the Maid of Honour.

Things turned out just as great for Fi. Mark and her broke it off when he was moving to California to study, and they knew they couldn't keep the relationship going. Fi was never the one who scoped out different colleges in high school. So she didn't end up going. Instead she gave CDs to a bunch of different record labels until one signed her. She now is travelling all around the country, singing in small clubs and in bars. She comes to New York often, so I get to see her regularly. She tells me that she is focusing on her career, she can find herself a man later.

As for Sophie, it was always our hometown for her. She got a apprenticeship at the local news paper, writing articles. She picked herself up a new-to-town man, Dean. I've met him a few times when I'm visiting my mum. They're the cutest couple, hands down. He also has a job at the newspaper, except he's the photographer. Sophie also has a part time job at the florist, because she is enthusiastic about gardening.

Christy, well we never really grew back together again. She moved to Canada, doing goodness knows what. Sophie told me because Christy told her. I think she is working at a school or something along the lines of that.

Apparently, all the stuck up girls got jobs in tanning salons along the coast of California. Except for Mickey, who is actually studying at Yale. No one expected that one. I sometimes email her, we're not really tight, but we still sometimes speak. This is how I know about the tanning salons.

Wondering about Sean? He got a job in Seattle, playing gigs and such. He emailed me once, getting my email from Mickey, saying where he was working. That's pretty much all he said. But Mickey says he found a girl, whom he got knocked up, and is somehow supporting them both. I'm glad I let him go when I did, because I might have been the one who was carrying a baby on my hip. I might've not have gone to New York. Oh well, no living in what ifs. I'm here now.

My love life? Well, it's a long story. I found out last year Rick also pursued in a university in New York. I found out he was studying a degree in history. So I called him up and it all went from there. He his living in an apartment near me and studying in Brooklyn college. It's pretty amazing we both went to the same city. I guess you could say it was "meant to be".

I finish up my coffee, and the end of my art assignment, and head out the door and decide that I want to take a stroll through Central Park, the one of many advantages of New York. You have this giant park in the middle of the city. I sit on a bench, one of my favourite. I sketch for a few minutes when something makes me look up. And then I see a familiar face out of all the people. It's Sean. He sees me then, too. I nod at him, he nods back. We can both see the other is doing well. I can see he's with a girl, with a child, and I'm guessing that's his girlfriend and child. I guess I'm glad he's doing well. I mean, I did care for him at one stage. I guess I have a little place in me that cares for him again, but not like before. I stand, taking one last look at Sean, knowing fully well that may be the last time I ever see him, and turn away from him and make my way to the subway. I shall move on, and never look back.

It's done! Wow. I hoped you guys liked it. It was really fun writing this chapter. There will be a new book coming called Escape that is VERY different to this one. Less, or maybe no, romance. I have lots of planning to do, so maybe I could write another short story? I was thinking about doing a book of Annie, in her perspective. Or maybe the once upon a time starts here? Thoughts? Anyways say goodbye to these characters (maybe just for now if I write a Annie story). What did you think of what happened to everyone? Ok guys, until next time

PEACE!!!!!
