I was again sitting on the bus, reading a book. The same events passed, but I knew the events of today would be very different. Nothing ever happens like this. There are very few times when a event occurs like this, every now and then guys are caught fighting behind the gym, or some girls were smoking in the bathroom. Those were boring, because the school makes sure it wouldn't spread too far, even though the whole school finds out, but it is controlled. But this, the school won't get involved, they like to put these things on the back burner. They won't get caught up in someone’s personal life, unless a fight or something occurs.

I was giddy with excitement; she would be caught out today. Flash backs pop up and I want to ignore them. I can't let that ruin my day. But I just remember that day in the alleyway by the school. I shake me head. No. I take a deep breath. I have read the same line over 15 times, not registering what it says. I sigh and close the book. For the rest of the bus trip I just sit and stare out the window, wanting the day to get to the exciting bits.

Christy didn't sit with us that morning. She walked to Sean and his friends. When we got to class, I realized the damage was done. Unfortunately, I don't have Amanda nor Sean in my math class, but next, in History I had Amanda. Everyone was simply astounded. They were all talking about it, while I sit at the back of the class, smiling like a fool.

"SHUT UP, ALL OF YOU! AMANDA IS REALLY UPSET!!" Mickey, one of Amanda’s friends shrieked.

"She's upset? Sean was the one being used." Hollered some guy that was friends with Sean.

"Who even knew that he was using her?" His mate also chimed in.

"Well.. We knew...But.....W-we didn't say anything, none of us." Mickey then burst into tears, for some 'dramatic' effect. I rolled my eyes.

"Well Amanda told us yesterday, in the bathroom." Nikki, Mickey’s friend also chimed in. "Now that I think about it, there was someone in the stalls. What a bitch, she told Christy to say something."

"She's the bitch? Amanda was the one who was using someone!" The same guy stated again. A yelling fest then broke out. I bit my lip from screaming at them it was me, and laughing at them for being so stupid. The teacher knew he couldn't even stop this so he just sat at his desk, staring at nothing really in particular. Oh, this is gold.

Next period came too slowly. I sat in a chair, again at the back of the class. Amanda was distraught. She was yelling "WHY ME??" Drama queen. Then Rick entered, sitting in the seat next to me. He looked sad. I remembered the times we sat together a long time together, till he left to be with them. We would chat about days that passed, telling each other everything. I missed those times. Just like the math teacher, he wasn't really staring at a particular thing. Instead of standing tall, his shoulders drooped. Had I caused this? No, it was Amanda, wanting him.

"Rick?" I acknowledged. Him just nodding. "Are you ok?"

"I don't know." At least he was being honest. “I mean Sean’s my mate. I didn't mean to make him hurt like this. It's my fault."

It felt like old times. "It's not." I reassured him "It's Amanda, she did this, you didn't make this happen. Don't worry. I know you, you wouldn't lead her on."

"Yeah I guess you’re right. He hasn't spoken to me." He sighed, rustling his black hair through his hands.

I didn't know what to say. "Talk to him."

"I guess." He sighed, once again.

We sat in silence, listening to Amanda whine on about how hard life is, and that no one gets her. Her friends tried comforting her, but she kept the tears coming.

"Oh my gosh!" I stood up, looking down at her. "What's wrong with you?? YOU used him! Why are you complaining? You deserve what comes to you! I hope any guy sees right through you!" I was pissed.

"OMG, what's your problem? You wouldn't know what a relationship is! You've never had one!" She said to me, what did I care? At least I wasn't flitting from guy to guy.

Rick glared at Amanda "What's YOUR problem? She was just trying to shut you up, cause nobody wants to hear you whine about your life." That shut her up. He smiled at me and I smiled right back.

Every class was the same. Sean was not in any of my classes that day. I really didn't want to see him, though. I didn't want to see his hurt eyes.   I was on the bus once again. I was caught up in my thoughts when someone slumped down next to me. I didn't acknowledge whom it was for a while. I glanced at the figure and would’ve fallen over if I weren't already sitting down. There sat Sean, staring out the window. I was confused, why was he sitting next to me of all people. I pretended that i was more fascinated with something outside, when in reality I was stumped by the idea of SEAN sitting next to me.

The bus started rolling out the school gates. "I know it was you." He said, still not looking at me.

"What?" I peeped.

"You were the one who told Christy." I didn't know what to say so I just sat. He looked over at me, with those blue eyes, for the first time. I melted in the inside. "Thanks." He said looking away again.

Confusion spread over me. Thanks? That's good, right? Does he mean it. Thanks. I smiled, but then realized that I probably looked pretty stupid.

He got off the bus. He didn't say anything else after 'thanks'. I stared at his back as he walked away. Though he didn't say much, he acknowledged that I was alive. I couldn't believe it. I was beaming. The outcomes of today were what I was expecting and so much more

Authors note: Ok, I admit that I am not the best writer, and this was a sucky chapter. It gets more interesting, I promise
