Feng Jiu felt brush strokes playing on her upper eyelids. Her husband had somehow dragged her to this place after Ye Hua's wedding ceremony. There wasn't a single mirror here so Feng Jiu was very curious how she looked now. The fairy maid was still working on her hair. They were very gentle in their work but the feeling of being heavy in her head made Feng Jiu believe that her hairdo was more complicated than the hairdo she was used to. It was probably the typical hairdo of chelestial noblewomen. It maybe similar to Lexu's hairdo.
Ah, Feng Jiu recalled That woman. Dong Hua and she had descended the stairs in front of the Hall where Ye Hua-Ming Xia's wedding ceremony was taking place. Her husband had somehow pulled her hand away. She already knew that they would not linger on the show. However, Dong Hua's decision to immediately drag her away right after Ye Hua-Ming Xia's wedding vows ended, left Feng Jiu speechless.
“Dijun,” a man called out to Dong Hua behind. "Dijun.., Dihou..," This time a woman. It didn't know who was behind, Feng Jiu couldn't help but stoped because the Woman called out to her. Feng Jiu turned her head and stopped when she saw who had been calling them all this time.
Apparently it was prince Yan Chuo and his wife, Lady Lexu. They had a hard time catching up to the Jiuchongtian couple because Yan Chuo's step seemed to be supporting Lady Lexu's path. The stairs in front of the hall were indeed too steep. Moreover, there was no single iron handle. However, it could be passed easily by a god without cultivation. This made Feng Jiu frown in surprise. Was Lady Lexu sick?
Dong Hua felt his grip on Feng Jiu tug. His wife had stopped and begged him to wait for Yan Chuo and Lexu. This irritated him a bit. However, Feng Jiu's pleading gaze couldn't be resisted. He exhaled in disgust and finally waited for the couple to down the stairs one by one to meet them.
The couple saluted as they arrived in front of Dong Hua and Feng Jiu. Feng Jiu scanned the couple's faces. Yan Chuo somehow looked fresher and younger than usual. Lady Lexu looked weak but she looked happy. There was a twinkle and shame combined in her eyes.
What is this?
"Dijun, forgive us for interrupting." Yan Chuo said reluctantly.
Dong Hua sighed. "Yeah, you guys are really annoying."
Feng Jiu lightly pinched her husband's arm. "Husband, don't do it."
Yan Chuo stuttered, then smiled, at a loss for what to say. "I.. I.. Ah.. why did I forget.'
"You stopped my journey. And then you forgot what to say. It should have been something important that made you do that instead of you forgetting it."
"Forgive us, Dijun." It was Lady Lexu who spoke this time.
"We.. we want to talk about punishment.. our punishment.'
Feng Jiu frowned even more. Dong Hua repeated Lexu's statement.
"Punishment?'
Yang Chuo seemed to have found his words back. "Ah, right. We want to thank to Dijun for punishing us to volunteer at the orphanage in Qin Que."
Dong Hua's brow furrowed. He rubbed his chin. "Hmmmm. This is the first time someone has thanked to me for being punished. However, it was Bai Zhi Dijun who gave the punishment. You should be thanking him."
Lexu knelt down to Dong Hua. Yang Chuo was still supporting Lexu so he also kneeled down. Feng Jiu went awry and wanted to stop what they were doing. Dong Hua was still with a stoick face looking at them. Lexu spoke. "If Dijun had not sent my husband to serve his sentence. I might still be a vengeful person. I felt I was not being treated fairly at that time. I was just a woman trying to do her best for my son. When my husband caught up with me, I finally realized, we're both trying to reflect on our mistakes."
