41. Lust over woriness

Bai Qian opened her eyes. Her body felt sticky, some spots looked blue because of her overzealous actions. She looked around her. She's been at Ye Hua's work palace every night since she returned to Jiuchongtian. Their relationship improved again. Bai Qian's anger subsided.

There was no denying that she was also guilty. She should have stayed at Jiuchongtian no matter what. Bai Qian's absence was an open way for some to impeach her. She knew it and didn't want to leave her husband's side anymore.

Bai Qian lifted her head and supported her head with her left hand, "Uhm, why are you still working so late at night."

Ye Hua turned to her, "There are some problems in Jiuchongtian."

"What is the problem?"

"What's wrong? What happened to Cheng Yu."

"We looked everywhere for her and couldn't find her until Dong Hua Dijun said that Cheng Yu must have returned in her true form."

"And you found her?"

Ye Hua nodded. "Goddess Zuti had risen."

"Oh," Bai Qian was relieved, then she realized something. "Isn't lord Cheng yu pregnant? Then, how is the condition of the pregnancy?"

"Oh Lord." Bai Qian's body trembled. For some reason, she was crying over the fate of Cheng Yu's pregnancy. Ye Hua hugged her, whispering words of calm. "This is probably for the best."

"We have to visit them."

"Third uncle was still very weak, but he insists that Goddess Zuti be with him always. They are isolated in the Yuanzhi palace. It would be best if we didn't disturb them."

Bai Qian looked at Ye Hua's face. She stroked the man's cheek and Ye Hua closed his eyes to feel her love. "Ye Hua, our marriage is for the sake of alliance."

Ye Hua's eyes opened hearing that. "We were talking about third uncle, then you talked about our marriage."

"Listen to me first." Bai Qian sulked.
