"I simply cannot believe they did all this." Rarity scoffed at the condition of the gym.

"If only I had some kind of... party cannon that could decorate everything super fast." Pinkie pouted.

"I know it seems impossible, but maybe if we all work together?" Twilight offered.

"Now that's the kind of can-do spirit I'm looking for in a Fall Formal Princess," Applejack said cheerfully. "Let's do it, ya'll!"

"Absolutely!"

"Rock on!"

"Yesindeedily!"

"Yay!"

"I'm in!"

We looked at Twilight, and she put her hand on top of mine. We cheered and began to work. We swept up the garbage and scraps to start. We gathered the trash and threw them into the dumpster behind the school.

While putting away the busted tables, two of the jocks helped Twilight put one away. I smiled and continued to help. I giggled at Pinky's dirty hair when she used it instead of the broom.

Fluttershy and Rarity started on the streamers and decorated the ceiling. A couple of their friends came in and helped. They threw them, wrapping it around the beams. They smiled, knowing they were helping to slowly put this place back together.

A handful of kids were helping us. The seven of us stood on the stage, facing the kids. I wrapped my arm around Rainbow Dash as she wrapped hers around mine. We looked out at the final product.

"This looks so good!" Pinkie said excitedly.

Principal Celestia clapped by the doors. "Alright, everyone! Fall Formal is back on for this evening!"

The crowd cheered as I sighed in relief. "So you better get out of here and start getting ready. Oh, and don't forget to cast your ballots for Fall Formal Princess on the way out."

We headed back to Rarity's Boutique. I sat in a beanbag chair.

"I still can't believe we pulled that off," Fluttershy said in amazement.

"I can. We're awesome." Rainbow Dash pulled me up from the chair and fist-bumped me.

"Enough chatter, girls. We need to get ready, and we need to look fabulous!"

Rarity went around the boutique, helping the girls pick out their dresses. She made adjustments to them as well. She helped me shorten my dress. She presented us with jewelry while we were doing makeup.

My final outfit was a long sleeve pale pink dress. The neckline slanted from one end to the bottom of my shoulder. It was shin-length, so I wouldn't have trouble tripping on it. Rarity added a pale pink heart choker with my element. My cutie mark was on the side of my dress in white.

I marveled at Twilight's outfit, and we gathered around her. She was beautifully dressed, fit for a princess. I wrapped an arm around her as she looked at me with confidence. We were ready to do this.
