CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

"goodbyes hurt" ellie hugged me tears falling from her eyes "what is it they say goodbyes are?" sharon asked "bittersweet, goodbyes are bittersweet" i said as pulled her into my arms smiling "what about me i'm your best friend and you forget me?" maja shook her head "come here you" i pulled her in for a hug "save the best for last." i whispered in her ear.

"listen maja i'm so sorry i have to leave before your birthday but i'll be back soon." i wiped the tear from my cheek "oh my precious loving may" she cupped my face with her hands using her thumbs to wipe my tears away she placed her forehead against mine "i'll miss you safe travels my lovely" she kissed my head
maja was a year older than me she treated me like a younger sister she had dated my older brother who i don't seen anymore as he moved away the two ended on okay terms and still speak which gives me hope that one day the two of them will find love again and i can officially call maja my sister, finally buckling my seatbelt i pulled out of the drive the girls waving goodbye as i drove off.

i sat patiently waiting for the traffic to move as I sang the songs playing through my car waiting to move to her back home

"mazeee" he sung

"masee" i laughed

"how long you gonna be??" he asked

"i'm stuck in traffic so if could be an hour or so"

"okay well i make food for you for when your here"

"cutest boyfriend ever love you" i smiled

"i love you too"

finally i pulled into the drive grabbing my suitcase from the boot and my bag from the front seat walking up to the stairs lifting my bags walking inside smelling masons cooking "honey i'm home!" i laughed i heard a fork drop as he sprinted over to me lifting me into the air "missed me much?" i smiled "i really did it may have been 4 days but it felt like four weeks." he kissed my lips

the rest of the night we spent cuddled up on my couch the blanket over the two of us as he drew circles on my hip as i lay on my side he was the one i wanted to grow old with be married to have kids with he really was the one.

singing along to the song maisie danced around the kitchen making breakfast her short black nike shorts with one of masons white shirts her hair in a messy bun with a few strands messy at the front with her glasses on her head pouring glasses of orange juice for the two "morning" mason yawned "morning" maisie smiled to him "sleep well love?" he asked her "yeah you could say" she sighed "i love you" he kissed her cheek she smiled at him showing her affection.

"honey we would love you to come and visit us soon!" my dad spoke

"i would love to it's just i've got so much going on and i've been having bad nights" i sighed feeling bad

"maybe i could visit you instead" he added

"that would be lovely dad but i wouldn't force you" she smiled

"i want to see you so i'll come down this weekend?" he smiles

"yes i cannot wait" i waved goodbye ending the call.

"so your dad is visiting this weekend?" mason hugged me "yes i guess so" i lay in his arms "i'm pretty sure your dad likes me" he laughed "oh mase he loves you" i laughed clasping my hands with masons "your the best girlfriend maze" he whispered into my ear "your the best boyfriend" i pecked his cheek.
