"Can you explain it again?" Link said. Teba sat down, and Link sat in front of him, it had been a few days, and it was lucky Link was making the recovery he was.

"well, a friend of mine saw you and your friend in Garudo Heights. he knew they were up to no good, so he flew back and went to me to help. Riju was safely brought to the desert village, and I stopped them from harming you any further."

"thank you for your help, Teba."

"It is the least I can do, Link. now about your strange infliction."

"I'm not sure much about it myself. It appeared after an incident at the ruins of Akkala Citadel."

"hmm, I see. Of course, someone like you on the move is no surprise. But may I ask about the group that had you and your friend in the first place?"

"Well, they are the Yiga Clan. They hang around the desert and cover all of Hyrule. And from other things I learned, they were Sheikah members who went to serve the Calamity in the hopes they would be spared."

"I see why you might have a target on your back when it comes to them," Teba stood up, grabbing some Salmon Meuniere from the table and passing it to Link. He couldn't hold himself back and dug in. starving, "glad to see you like it."

Link finished the meal and looked out the window, seeing the shadow atop the porch to Vah Medoh.

"How is your leg? You seem to be walking well," Link asked.

"Much better than before. It wasn't that bad, just took about a week to heal enough that I could walk."

Link looked down at his arm. The malice's glow was still visible.

"since your leg is doing better, why don't we head out to the flight range. Practice a bit.

"Woah, you still need to rest. It's only been a few days, and your arm is only getting worse."

"I need to keep going. The Calamity will not stop, and I will not stop either. I must finish recovering my memories and recuse Zelda to stop it."

"I understand that, but it's okay to take a short break. Rest up a bit."Link went quiet, unsure whether to take the help. He had a job to do. But he was fully aware that he couldn't do that task how he is now. The last thing Link wanted was to get closer to malice.

"Fine, I'll rest here for a bit, but afterward, I'm going back to Kakariko Village to speak with Impa."

"Alright," Teba smiled, I'll be here if you need anything."

Link left. Heading down the stairs to the take-off platform, where he had first spoken to Revali, champion of the Rito and piolet to Divine Beast Vah Medoh. No one was around, so Link leaned agent the guard rail, looking toward the path to the flight range. He may be able to make it using the gale of Revali and the gusts of air from the lake below. They most likely keep some backup weapons at the flight range, not to mention plenty of target practice. After his internal debate, he went to the center of the take-off and activated the Gail. Gliding to the flight range.

As he arrived at the shrine just outside the entrance to the flight range, he started to shiver. How could he have been so hasty as to go in without any warm gear? He barely survived the cold the first time. He searched his bag for anything that might help and managed to find some monster parts and bugs left in his bag. He went into the flight range and started a fire at the pot, cooking up a hand full of elixirs to keep him warm. He quickly chugged one and felt warm once more, grabbing a bow and arrow set left behind from someone's training. He took a deep breath and jumped out into the flight range, shooting targets and getting his strength back. But as he grabbed onto his parachute after a shot, his arm burned to force him to let go.

Links arm dangled as he used his other one, trying to guide the paraglider but crashed into rocks, falling into the water below. His whole body burned from the fall. He tried to get up, but his arm was completely useless.

"wow, you got weaker and weaker by the day. You should have just rested like your friend said." someone spoke. Link remembered the voice as the stranger he met at the Shrine of Resurrection appeared in front of him. It nealed down and examed Link, however, not making any contact, "you've become hasty and put the whole of Hyrule at stake because of it."

"Who are you?" Link sputtered, looking up at the shadow looming over him.

"Now is not the time for that, Hero." the stranger reached and grabbed Link's arm. Causing Link to fight back but was effortlessly stopped by this person. "you should be more concerned about this, shouldn't you? Head to Scull Lake, east of Death Mountain. You'll find your answers there."

And like that, the stranger disappeared once more. Links arm stopped burning, and he managed to sit up against a rock, taking deep breaths. Did it stop the pain? Or had it been the one to cause it? In the end, it didn't matter. Scull lake was his next goal.
