Link was slammed into the back of a cell. Stripped of his weapons. Aside from the Master Sword, they could not take it. However, it was weakened from the last fight. Riju was thrown in too.

"Link! You shouldn't have come for me."

"I knew it was a trap the moment I saw the Garudo who told me you were taken, but what other choice did I have. I had to come help. Look, whatever the Yiga plan to do to me. I'll only let them if they let you go. I just need some time to charge my abilities."

She nodded. Not liking the plan and not trusting the Yiga to hold to their words. Link relaxed, hoping maybe some meditations would speed up the process even slightly.

Riju sat back against the back of the cell, scared but trusting of Link's choice.

"wakey wakey hero!" Master Kohga approached the cell. Link looked up. Annoyed. "We gotta get moving. We are heading for the structure atop Nero Hill."

Link sat up in shock. Knowing why they would take him there. A few Yiga members opened the cage, grabbing him and Riju.

"Wait!" Link sputtered. Kohga looked at him, "I don't care what you think you're going to do to me. Let Riju go, and I'll go with you without any fights."

"I'm not that dumb. When the hostage is gone, you'll have no reason not to fight us. She will be staying until this is over. But, if you choose not to fight. Then we will make sure she isn't harmed."

Link sighed, "Fine. But lay a hand on her, and it will be your end. Permanently."

Both Riju and Kohga were shocked by this claim. None the less they were taken out and brought across the Garudo Heights. Both Link and Riju sivered from the cold air, Riju used to be in the hot climate of the Garudo Region, and Link, lacking any warm clothing to protect him. They had to scale down the cliffs of the heights, but the hill covered in malice was noticeable.

"Why are they taking us there? That hill is covered in malice." Riju whispered, looking to Link.

"That's the point," he whispered back, "they want to infect me with malice. Though I have no clue how something like that could even work. Any time I've interacted with it, it just burns my skin. It doesn't have the same effect on monsters or machines."

Course, Link knew that wasn't entirely true. He is connected to that stuff. But how could something like that have happened? How does this stupid subsidence work? Link had no time to ponder over it as they arrived at the base of this hill. Atop was a shrine that Link had already managed to open. He had a plan.

"Alright, Kohga, we are here, now let Riju go." Link said firmly.

"I thought I already made it clear we will not be letting her go until we are finished."

"It wouldn't be hard for you to catch her again. Not to mention she wouldn't have time to get back to the settlement from here. So if I do not do what you say. She would be at risk. Just let her head home. I'll keep compliant."

"you got the point there, alright. Men, let Riju go and focus on ensuring the hero doesn't go anywhere."

The Yiga did as they were commanded, letting her go as she backed up. She felt like she had to fight. To do something to help Link.

"go, Riju. I'll be fine," Link said uncertainly. Riju finally nodded and set towards the path through the Garudo Pass. Link sighed as he was brought closer to the malice. They removed his armband, and the bile glowed its blood-red color.

"Alright. Push the hero into the malice," Kohga commanded as they forced Link closer to the hill. Link had no choice but to give no resentence to this act. His abilities were too far from being finished. Even if he did, Riju would be in danger. Whether this would work or not, it was going to hurt.

They flung him into a clump of malice. His skin burnt, and he had nowhere to go. he tried to fight back against it but was weak. The master sword would also be of no help.

The Yiga watched the sean from the side, ensuring he had nowhere to go. Whether it killed Link or corrupted him was not their problem. It's a win-win. However, a faint sound caught their ears.Link kept struggling in the malice. His vision getting fuzzy again. he started to move out of the bile. Only to be shoved back in. but he felt the ground shake. He looked up. Seeing a streak of white in the sky. explosions filling the air. But that was the last thing like saw before blacking out once more.--------------------------------------------------------------------He woke up on a soft bed, his eyes shuttering open slowly. He looked around, but his vision was blurred. The burning in his arm was still there. However, it was wrapped up in bandages from his palm to his elbow. He tried to sit up. Rubbing his head."Hey, hey, take it easy." A female voice spoke. Pink was the next thing he saw. As he was helped back into a comfortable position, "don't worry, you're safe here Link, your lucky one of Teba's friends was in the area."
