About an hour later, Sena was just finishing her breakfast when she got another notification.

"I'm guessing you still wake up early in the morning right? I guess you do live a little far away, but it's not impossible. Wanna meet up this weekend? We could exchange Christmas gifts!! Gosh, I miss youuuu, I'll talk to you later."

She sighed, see? She always makes it seem as she actually wants to hang out with her, and then the topic of gifts or shopping comes up. It's a repeating pattern. Sena heard the doorbell ring, "Oh! Coming!"  She opened the door to Haruka. "Hi Haru! Come in, I made breakfast." She smiled. Haruka glared at her, "Never. Ever. Make me wake up this early again." She stepped in. Sena laughed, "Sorry! I made pancakes though." "Oohh, pancakes? You're forgiven." She ran over to the kitchen.
Haru stuffed her mouth with pieces of pancake, Sena's cooking is literally the best. "Anyway," Sena started, "Chiyo sent me a text yesterday.." "Chiyo? The one from last year? So what?" Haru asked. Sena rolled her eyes, "Don't you remember? She was the one who used me." "Ohhhh!!!!! That Chiyo." She said, with quite an attitude. "Yeah, well anyway. She asked me to hang out with her and some of our friends, but I haven't responded yet." She showed Haru the texts. "Well, do you wanna hang out?" She scrolled down. Sena just glared at her, "If I did, why would I be showing you." Haru just shrugged, "Just respond with something like.. Sorry, I'm really busy. Or honestly just say you wanna break off the friendship. I don't know." She kept eating. Sena sighed, "I guess...," She put her head down, "I kind of miss them though." Now Haru was just confused. "Huh? Do you want to hang out with them or not?" Sena looked up, "What do you think I should do?" she asked genuinely. "Oh, Uhmmm, don't? They're just gonna use you for your money again. Who cares about them really. Plus, she hated me, why would I want you to hang out with her?" Haru drank some water. "Mmm, they remind me of the city though." "Sena, I should remind you of the city, not some idiots like them. Now stop talking about them, it's annoying." She smiled. Sena laughed as she stood from her chair, "You know, your attitude has changed." "How?" "I don't know... You're way more upfront now, I think. Not that it's a bad thing though." She smiled.
