Chapter 27

"I think we should have that talk now. I have to get something off my chest." He says.

"Are you sure your not going to walk away from the conversation again? Or run away? I'm tired of that." Hope replies.

"No I'm not going anywhere." He steps closer and Hope quirks an eyebrow at the action.

"Okay what do you need to say?"

"Why can't we get back together? You once called me your epic love."

Hope tries to keep her expression cold because she really didn't want to have this talk but she knows she has to now. "You were at one point. Look Landon your a great guy but I can't go through with that again." She replies.

"I'm happy with Josie okay, I've been wanting her for a while now and she makes me happy. You should be happy for me because I'm hoping one day you'll find happiness again."

'It's the least he can do. I want that for him, is it so hard to get the same thing in return?'

Landon sighs and looks away for a second. "Hope just give me another chance and I'll make you happy again." He pleads turning his attention back towards her before taking another step forward.

Hope sighs. "Your not getting it." She turns away from him. "I think .. I think I'm in love with her." She says with a smile, she turns around to say it again.

"I'm in love with Josie-" Landon cuts her off by kissing her.

Hopes eyes widen and she pushes him off and slaps him across the face. "Landon what the hell!"

He holds the left side of his cheek."I'm sorry I just thought-"

"What could you have been thinking right there? I'm with Jo." She runs her hand through her hair a couple times. "Can you respect that please."

Landon scoffs."Come on Hope she can't replace what we had, I was your first, that's gotta mean something."

'Is this what people think????!'

She scoffs."You know what, I'm not even going to reply to that. I gotta go find my girlfriend."

"Well your so called 'girlfriend' was in finch's room last night after she put you  to bed." He shrugs walking away shaking his head.

'What? That's the second time someone has said she's been in there.'

She continues her search for the brunette and when she gets tired of going in circles she decides to go to finch's room directly.

'Only one way to find out for sure.'

She knocks on the door a couple times. When the door opens finch looks at the girl unimpressed. Hope rolls her eyes not wanting to deal with this.

"Have you seen Josie?" She asks crossing her arms.

"I haven't seen your girlfriend. Maybe you should keep her on a tighter leash like I did." She grins.

Hope feels the gold in her eyes threatening to take over. 'Don't let her get to you.'

"I'm nothing like you." She turns around to walk away but she stops in her tracks once she hears the other girl speak. She catches the brunettes scent in her room so she knows Josie has been here.

"You got that right, your nothing like me.That's why Jo came in here last night to get what she's been missing."Finch says shrugging.

Hope takes a deep breath and turns around to face the girl."Your lying."
