Kyra's P.O.V.
I awoke at around two in the morning. Today we had settled near a stream so I decided to get clean. I grabbed something and walked to a more secluded part where if someone woke up they wouldn't see me. I stripped my layers and stuck my toe into the water. It's warm, very warm considering it was nighttime. I stepped in the water, it up to my elbows.
After I had finished I dried off and got dressed. I heard something bustling in the bushes. "It's just an animal." I whispered to myself, twisting my sword pendant around my neck.
I sat down on the ground then heard it again. 'I think I should go back instead of sitting here.' I thought to myself. I got up to leave then I felt two big strong arms around me, one around my waist, the other covering my mouth. I began to kick and scream though I was muffled by the hand.
"Be quiet!" A husky voice commanded. "If you stay quite ill let go of you."
I nodded. My captor let go of me. "What do you want?" I asked quietly
"Those are dwarfes, right?" He said
"Um.." I said not wanting to answer,
"I don't like dwarfs. So I'm going to kill them."
Started to scream and ran back to where everyone was sleeping. They ran after me but I was too quick to them.
"Fili!! Kili!" I screamed as every one jumped from there beds.
"What's going on here!" Thorin yelled fiercely. Odviously the bandit hid. So yeah.
Fili and Kili were standing shoulder to shoulder, I hid behind them. "I was attacked!" I said.
Fili's P.O.V.
I gave kili a look telling him to comfort kyra, she was scared to death. And hiding behind us.
He got the message and put his hand on her back, then hugged him hard and continued to hold on to him. she rested her head on his shoulder. It was quiet adorable. I have him a thumbs up. And he smiled, in reply.
"Where is your attacker then?" Thorin asked
She Buried her face into his neck more, and mumbled something.
"She doesn't know." Kili said speaking for her
"How can you not know?" He asked
"She was bathing and once she was done some one came up behind her. She promised to keep quiet so he told her he didn't like dwarfs and was going to kill us. So then she screamed and ran back here." Kili rubbing his hand up and down her back, attempting to comfort her, which he didn't do for people very often. No he had never done this. For anyone.
"We can't just mindlessly look for someone in the wood in the dark of night. We will leave to the next village tomorrow and stay at an inn." Thorin said. "Everyone get to sleep, fili and kili are on guard."
Everyone when to sleep but me kili and kye, Kyra said we could call her kye.
I looked over to see kye, asleep on kili. I chuckled.
"What?!" Kili asked.
"You two are adorable." I said
His cheeks went red.
