Once Julieta escorts her to her room, she said own next to her.
"Mira, I thought I told you to forget all about this crack problem." Julieta said.
"But mamá I'm telling you the truth why won't you believe me. I'm your daughter." Mirabel argued.
"Mira, I want to believe you but, there's no evidence to what you have been saying. Casita had no cracks until now. I'm figuring all of this might be in your head, Mirabel." Julieta said.
"Mamá if all of this is in my head, then how did I got myself injured. You saw the cut. And also, a girl my age named 'Y/n' told me she saw it too." Mirabel said.
"Maybe, she said that to not make you feel like you've embarrassed yourself." Julieta said.
Mirabel's mind nearly exploded.
"Embarrased!? I was not embarrassed, I was disappointed. I've been left out from the rest of this family ever since I didn't get a gift. Abuela kept on making me feel like an outcast when I'm just trying to make my family happy and proud for who I am even though I'm different. Yet, you still make excuses for all my explanation. How are you going to believe me?" Mirabel argued.
Julieta sighs sadly.
"Mirabel, please. Just forget all of this, I'm begging you. We can't have anymore problems for Abuela. We can't risk any other problems." Julieta said.
As Julieta got up, Mirabel stared at her mother in disbelief.
"Were you even listening to what I was even saying, mamá?" Mirabel asked furiously.
"Yes, I did." Julieta said.
Then, without any other words to say, Julieta left Mirabel's room.
Then, Dolores watched Mirabel from a far.
Mirabel shuts her door and sat on her bed while eyes starts to get watery.
Dolores then, knocks on her door.
Mirabel didn't answer.
Dolores then went in.
"Mirabel, I-" Dolores's words were interrupted by Mirabel.
"Look, Dolores please just leave me alone." Mirabel said.
"Mirabel, I can help you." Dolores said.
"How, Dolores?" Mirabel asked lazily.
"Well, you said Y/n saw the cracks too." Dolores said.
"Yeah, and?" Mirabel asked.
"You could go and ask her about it." Dolores said.
Mirabel still sat on her bed feeling depressed.
Dolores sighs the she left.
Mirabel groans.
"Casita, should I really go?" Mirabel asked Casita.
The windows then started to open and close meaning that Casita said yes.
Mirabel then thought to herself whether she should go or not.
~Timeskipped to the next day~
Mirabel got out of the house since no one wanted her help and knew her Abuela doesn't even have time for her. She then looked around the village for Y/n if she was outside.
A few minutes later, Mirabel found Y/n sitting on a bench outside her house and while drawing so.ething on her notebook.
Mirabel then went straight to her.
"Y/n, hey!" Mirabel said.
"Hey, Mirabel! What's up?" Y/n asked.
"I really need to talk to you about something." Mirabel said.
"Oh, sure. We can go to my room, I'm guessing you want this conversation in a private place." Y/n said.
"Yes, thank you." Mirabel said in a relieved voice.
They both got up and went inside.
Once Mirabel went inside Y/n's room, her jaw dropped.
"Wow, your room looks more amazing than mine." Mirabel said.
"No, I think your room is much better than mine. You have a magical house, that's more awesome than my normal room." Y/n said.
Mirabel kept looking around Y/n's room.
"Anyways, what did you want to talk about?" Y/n asked.
"Oh, right. I need you to tell me the truth about Antonio's night. Did you really saw what I saw. I meant the cracks." Mirabel said.
"Yeah, I did. I remembered when I saw you following the cracks and I saw the tile fell and... the candle. It was about to go out." Y/n said.
"So you did saw everything." Mirabel said.
"Of course I did. I mean why would I lie if I didn't even saw the cracks." Y/n said.
"My mamá kept giving me lame excuses about it." Mirabel said.
"Maybe she's doing it so you would just forget about it." Y/n said.
"But I can't. I just...can't. I know there's something wrong with the magic and I'm going to be the one who's gonna save it." Mirabel said.
"I'll help you. I'm sure you're gonna need a hand for this." Y/n said.
"We just need to find what's destroying the magic. But first, I got to keep asking Luisa about something." Mirabel said.
"What's wrong with her?" Y/n asked.
"Dolores said that Luisa might have cried yesterday. She said she sounded like she was crying." Mirabel said.
"Maybe she make weird sounds while she sleeps." Y/n said.
"No, she never made a sound while she sleeps." Mirabel said.
"But, anyways you should try to look out from some clues. I mean, there's got to be something that could help you get answers about this crack problem." Y/n said.
"Yeah... thank you so much for helping me, Y/n." Mirabel said.
"It's not a problem. And hey, if you ever find anything, be sure to tell me." Y/n said.
"Oh I will." Mirabel said.
And with that Mirabel left her room and went outside to go back to her house.
(Hey everyone, I will start to post more parts a bit slower cuz my exam is really near right now. I hope you all understand my situation. Love you all)
