Pretty Green Eyes: Hey babe 😘
Camila rubbed her eyes of sleep and grabbed her phone.
Me: u love waking me up, don't u?
It was around one-thirty in the morning.
Pretty Green Eyes: I'm srry boo...
Camila's mouth quirked up into a smile at that.
Me: it's cool. So what's up?
Pretty Green Eyes: can I come in?
"What?" She whispered out loud to herself.
Me: ...you're here? At my house?
Pretty Green Eyes: Yeah, I'm outside standing in your back yard. I kinda miss you.
Camila bit her lip nervously.
Me: I'm coming.
She quickly tiptoed down the stairs and opened the back door as carefully she could.
"Lauren?" Camila poked her head outside in search of the older girl.
"Hey," she seemingly came out of nowhere.
"What's wrong?" Camila asked with worried eyes. "You know it's Tuesday, right? I have to get ready for school in a couple hours."
"Once again, I'm so sorry. Can I come in?" Lauren's eyes pleaded.
"Uhh yeah," Camila gestured for her to enter.
When Lauren came inside, Camila addressed her to follow and ascended the stairs (in a surprisingly graceful manner). The younger girl let Lauren enter her room first, and Camila closed her door quietly behind her. She saw that Lauren took a spot on her bed, so she did the same.
"Again, are you oka-"
Camila was stopped mid-sentence when Lauren pulled her into a tight hug.
"I just wanted to see you Camz. Sorry if I'm acting weird," Lauren whispered into her ear.
Camila pulled away slowly and looked at her girlfriend. She was glad that Lauren was here, with her, but she couldn't help but feel a sense of authority. Lauren wasn't supposed to be here, and she knew it.
"I'm happy you're here, but I don't understand what you're wanting me to do," Camila struggled with trying to explain her thoughts.
"Can I sleep with you?" Lauren slid closer to the younger girl.
"W-what?" Camila flinched just a tad.
"Can I lay here with you? I just need some company," Lauren elaborated.
"Oh," Camila stared at her hands and nodded dumbly. "Okay."
Lauren smiled softly and abandoned her place on the bed. She slipped off her shoes and jacket with haste, and Camila giggled in the background. The younger girl had gotten back under the covers. Lauren grinned and laid on the unoccupied side of the bed. They both turned on their sides to face each other.
"Are you sure there isn't something you want to talk about?" Camila whispered. Lauren grabbed for Camila's hand under the blanket, holding it tightly when she found it.
"I'm sure," Lauren moved her head to give Camila a kiss on the forehead. "Now, go to sleep."
"But I'm not really tired, now that you're here," Camila's eyes drooped as she said so.
"Uh huh," Lauren said, not believing her.
"What are we going to do when I have to get up?" Camila yawned in between the question.
