What Scares Them

🚓Jim🚓

He always has the constant fear that you'll leave him for the job he does, sure you both work in the same building but the majority of people you work on are people your boyfriend has killed. You weren't really complaining considering it kept you busy all day.

Jim had hugged you tightly one night as you came home from work. You laughed.
"What's that for?" You hugged him back.
"I'm scared" Jim said as you hummed. "I'm scared you'll leave me." He said as you kissed his cheek.
"I will never leave you for being a hero and taking these criminals out." You reassured him with a smile as he kissed you out of happiness.

🐧Oswald🐧

Oswald had few fears but his main fear was someone hurting you to get to him. He didn't care about people hurting him directly, but hurting you to get to him made chills run down his spine. He loved you far too much to let something like this happen, he'd be damned to let it happen.

Oswald had hobbled over to you and kissed you passionately as soon as you stepped foot into your shared bedroom.
"I love you Y/N. I love you so much" he buried his face in your H/C hair and calmed his breathing.
"I love you too Oz" you smiled not knowing why he was being so loving but wasn't going to question it. But Oswald surely showed you how much he loved you that night.

❓Edward❓

Edward had asked you on several occasions if you liked being with him which you always replied with "of course."
You leaving him for someone "better" was his fear. The riddler usually got to him and tormented him, telling him that he's no good, you'll get bored and leave him.

"Eddie, how many times have I told you that I don't want anyone else but you?" You groaned as he asked you for the third time that night. "I love you and only you." He hugged your waist tightly and sighed.
"I love you. More than anyone." Edward spoke, his mind more at ease until the riddler comes and messes it up.

🤡Jerome🤡

Nothing scared Jerome, not police, not guns and violence, not even death scared him. Nothing. Except you thinking and believing that he's crazy. Jerome knew he was crazy, but being called crazy made his blood boil. You leaving Jerome for being being too crazy is what kept him up at night.

"Do you ever think I'm crazy?" Jerome asked with a glint in his eye. You shook your head as you sat on his lap and kissed him sweetly.
"No. I don't think your crazy. I think your... dangerous" you smiled as he giggled at your choice of words. You leaned in and whispered in his ear.
"But I like danger" Jerome smirked at your words before kissing you.

🃏Jeremiah🃏

Jeremiah never knew why he always had the same nightmare almost every single night.
It was you and him meeting Jerome after many years of hiding, but you instantly chased after Jerome and left him, crying and alone.
Jeremiah woke up crying everytime this happened.

You had woken up when he had jerked awake and startled you. "I promise I would never leave you for Jerome. Never." You stroked his hair lovingly as he told you about the constant nightmare. Jeremiah held you tightly as you whispered sweet nothings as he slowly drifted into a peaceful sleep, finally having a beautiful dream.

🔫Victor🔫

Yes you are the niece of a mafia boss and yes you were surrounded by violence and gangs all the time. But that never stopped Victor from being scared that you'd finally see him for what he was. A ruthless hitman with very few regrets and 0 remorse. If you left him for being a hitman it would crush him.

"Victor. I don't care about what you do. It's your job." You had stated when he asked you if his job scares you.
"I'm part of the mafia, I'm dating a hitman in a dangerous city. I love you for you. I won't ever leave you for what you do." You smiled as you jumped on him and kissed him making him laugh out of pure happiness.

🎩Jervis🎩

It was crazy but Jervis' fear often was him convincing himself that you're only with him because he hypnotised you. He didn't know if that was true or not but he begged it wasn't. He pleaded with himself that you had fallen for him because of him and not because of hypnosis. You knew something was off with Jervis, so you asked.

"What's up with you?" You hugged him one night he was near to crying.
"Have I ever hypnotised you?" He asked as you shook your head. "I feel like you might only love me because I might of hypnotised you at some point." You kissed his cheek. "You've never hypnotised me. I feel love for you and surely a person under hypnosis wouldn't feel it." You both smiled as he realised that's absolutely true.

🎃Jonathan🎃

You and Jonathan were certain that his fear was and always will be scarecrows. Well... Once Jonathan became the scarecrow he got a new fear. His fear was you being scared of him. Jonathan's dreams were now plagued of you hiding, running, crying and simply avoiding him because you were scared of him.

Jonathan told you about his fear, so you did what you always did to calm him. You stroked his head and hugged him tightly.
"I'll admit, the sudden change was... unexpected. But I know that it's you in there. Don't fear me being scared. I love you." You spoke as Jonathan kissed you sweetly.
