That Never Happened

Part 19: Reunion

Maya's POV:

"Hazel!" I open the door of Andy's car seeing my little girl for the first time in a few days.  "Mommy, mama I missed you!"  Hazel says reaching out to hug me but it caught by her seatbelt.  I lean over giving her a hug the best I can. 

"We missed you too bambina!"  Carina says.  "What did you do on trip?"  Haze asks.  "We went to the beach and we saw a bunch of turtles in the water.  We watched the sunrise and sunset and we got a little surprise for you."  I smile.  "What is it?"  Hazel begs to know. 

"You'll have to wait until we get home."  I say.  Andy drives us home.  "Where my surprise?"  Haze eagerly asks.  "Okay bambina close your eyes."  Carina says opening up the suitcase.  Hazel closes her eyes and Carina pulls out a shell necklace. 

"Okay open them."  Hazel opens her eyes and her mouth drops slightly.  "It's beautiful."  She says taking it from Carina's hand.  "Thank you mommy and mama."  Hazel says.  "You're welcome little one."  I smile.  "Hazel do you want to show them what you made?"  Andy asks.  "Oh yeah."  Hazel says remembering what her and Andy had done earlier that day. 

Hazel hands Carina and I a piece of paper that said 'I love my mommies' on it and it had a picture of the three of us.  "Bambina this is amazing!"  Carina gives Hazel a hug.  "This is so good Hazel."  I say.  "Thank you, also come look what Tia Andy got me!"  She says dragging Carina and I into her room. 

She pulls out a doctor outfit and a firefighter outfit with a huge smile on her face.  "Those are so cute Hazel!"  I smile.  "I can't wait to see you in them."  Carina says.  "Andy you can for dinner if you want."  I say as she puts her jacket on.  "No, Robert will want me home to make sure I'm okay every second."  She laughs.  "Okay thank you for watching Hazel."  I say.  "Of course anytime." 

She leaves and Carina and I finish making dinner.  Once it was bedtime we put Hazel to bed reading her a story before she fell asleep.  "Bella what do you think about having more kids?"  Carina asks laying on my chest in bed.  "I would love to have more kids.  Do you want more kids?"  I ask.  "Maybe one or two more."  She says.  "Why are you asking?"  I say confused.  "I was just asking."  She says calmly.  "Okay."  I smile to myself.  We eventually fall asleep. 

I get up early to go on my morning run, going on my usual trail.  I get to a piece of wall art that my brother made, smiling at how good it was.  "Maya.." I hear a familiar voice call out.  I turn around to see my brother standing right in front of me.  "Mason.."  I say in shock.  "What are you doing here?"  He asks. 

"I always go this way on my runs."  I say looking at the ground.  "Oh I'm surprised I haven't seen you here."  Silence sits between us as we both try to figure out what to say.  "You look good."  I finally say pointing at his nice clothing.  "Thank you, I finally got my life together.  I live with my girlfriend and I have a job as a freelance painter."  He says as we make eye contact. 

"I'm so proud of you Mason, that's amazing."  I say.  "You should come over for dinner tonight with your girlfriend, my wife makes an amazing pasta dish and we have a little girl named Hazel."  I say. 

"Wow that's great Maya, I would love to and I'm sure my girlfriend would also love to, thank you."  He says as we wave goodbye.  I finish my run thinking about our encounter the whole way home. 

Carina's POV:

"Hey bella how was your run?"  I ask as she walks through the door.  "It was good, I ran into my brother."  Maya says.  "What?"  I say confused.  "Yeah I also invited him and his girlfriend to dinner here tonight."  She places a quick kiss on my lips.  "Okay bambina, was it weird seeing your brother?" 

"A little bit but it was nice to see that he was doing okay."  She smiles.  I go back to cooking breakfast as Maya gets ready for the day.  Most of the day was spent inside since it was pouring down rain.  Once it hit 5:00pm I started making my famous pasta recipe that my mama taught me when I was little. 

"Are you going to tell him about Hazel?"  I ask Maya.  "I don't know yet, he has a right to know so I probably will."  She says pulling at her fingers.  "It will be okay bambina."  I say placing her hands on my waist and placing my lips onto hers.  I pull away continuing to make dinner. 

About a half an hour later we hear a knock at the door.  Maya opens the door taking a deep breathe before opening it.  "Hello."  I hear Maya say.  "Come on in."  They eventually make their way to the kitchen.  "This is my wife Carina."  She says introducing me.  "It's nice to meet you two."  I smile.  "It's nice to meet you too."  They both say. 

"This is my girlfriend Camilla."  Mason says.  I shake her hand feeling like I knew her from somewhere.  "Hazel come here, our guests have arrived."  Maya yells.  Hazel comes out shyly.  "Hazel this is my brother Mason and his girlfriend Camilla."  Maya leans down.  "Hi Hazel."  They both say. 

Everyone goes into the living room while I finish dinner.  "Hazel come help me set the table please."  I say.  She puts all the silverware out while I put the plates on the table.  We begin to eat talking a little bit in between. 

"So how did you two meet?"  I ask.  "Oh we met at this bar called..Royal."  Mason starts.  Then it hits me, I used to go to Royal when I first moved to Seattle and I picked up women and men, but mostly women.  One night I picked up Camilla and we hooked up but then I moved to going to Joe's bar once I started working at the hospital. 

"I pursued him first and the rest is history."  Camilla laughs.  "So how did you two meet?"  Camilla asks looking right at me.  "We also met at a bar, Joe's bar though."  Maya says.  "That's nice."  Camilla says.  We continue to eat dinner. 

After I clean everything up while Maya entertains them in the living room.  Then I put Hazel to bed and once she falls asleep I go back out into the living room.  "Hey Mason could I talk to you for a second?"  Maya asks.  "Yeah of course."  He says, they go into the kitchen leaving Camilla and I in the living room. 

"So..how long have you and Mason been together?"  I ask, awkward silence filling the room.  "Almost 3 years."  She says.  The sit their in silence as Mason and Maya return, Mason clearly still in shock from the news.  "Well we should get going."  Mason blurts out. 

"It was nice having you guys over, we should do it again sometime."  Maya says.  We say our goodbyes, once Maya shuts the door I start laughing.  "Why are you laughing?"  She says confused.  "Camilla and I.."  I try to get out before laughter takes over my body.  "You and Camilla what?" 

"We hooked up once."  I get out.  Maya's confused face turns into shock.  "What?"  "Yeah I used to go to Royal when I first moved here and she hit on me so we hooked up and that was it."  I say.  "Okay well I was not expecting that tonight."  Maya says anger lining her voice. 

"Are you jealous?"  I ask.  "No what I'm not jealous."  She says not convincing me.  "You're jealous."  I say pointing at her face.  "I'm not jealous!"  She says.  "It's okay to be jealous Maya."  I say as she walks away from me.  "I told you I'm not jealous."  She says. 

"So you're not jealous thinking about me kissing another women touching her."  I tease.  "Fuck I hate you."  She says before pressing our lips together into a rough kiss.  Our tongues gliding together perfectly as her hands roam up and down my body. 

She pushes me onto the bed straddling me.  Kissing down my neck leaving dark marks.  "Fuck."  I moan as she hits my sweet spot.  I could feel the tension building in between my legs.  Maya guides her hand down my body unbuttoning my pants and sliding hand down to meet my center. 

She circles my clit putting more and more pressure.  "Fuck bella, yes!"  I moan grinding down on her hand to try and get more friction.  Maya takes away her hand. 

"I told you that I'm not jealous."  She whispers in my ear.  "I fucking hate you."  I say, the tension still high in between my legs.  "You love me."  She teases.
