A/N sorry there are massive gaps between paragraphs my laptop is playing up yet again. SO if you have already noticed I have been going through all of the other chapters and trying to make them a little longer as a lot of people have been saying how short the first few chapters are. So I hope you still like this book and have fun reading.

PLEASE VOTE AND COMMENT YOU OPINIONS :P

love you's x

I was walking out of school. I had to wait for Janet to pick me up, so Troy was waiting with me till she got here. I watched her car pull up and I kind of freaked out. I haven't seen her since Troy came to town and that was a bad way to leave things. I said good bye to Troy and he kissed me good bye. "Hey Janet" I said as I slid into her car. Her car was so clean. I don't ever remember a time when it was messy.

"Hey sweets, How was your day at school?" she asked me with pure enthusiasm. She was always a happy person. We talked for a while till be got home. It was really nice to talk to her again. Once we got to dads house I noticed there was another car in the drive way. One that I did not know.

I walked into the front door because I wasn't paying attention. Ouch that really hurt. When I finally got my balance back I walked inside. Janet was on the phone still sitting in the car so I just shut the door behind me.

Someone was sitting on the couch with the back of their head facing me. It was a guy. He looks about somewhere in his twenties. When he turned around to face me his dirty blonde hair was covering his face. I could still see his bright green eyes. He looked alright. His smile was really big. I feel like I have seen him somewhere before.

"Hey honey I didn't hear you walk in" dad said as he walked up to me and gave me a hug. "Yeah Janet picked me up, she is still on the phone in the car though" I kept stuttering. For some reason I didn't feel comfortable around this man. "Dad who's that?" I just pointed at the man who had been staring at me since I walked through the front door. "Summer I think you might want to sit down for this." I walked over to the other couch and sat down. Not knowing what dad was going to say I was a little nervous.

"Summer, I know you might not like what I am about to tell you but I really hope you do." He kept looking between me and that young man. A sudden thought crossed my mine. 'Could it really be him? Was this Charlie?' I had only ever seen photos of him and they were when he was just a child. He would now be 29 and this man looked a little younger than 29 to me.

"Honey, this is Charlie" His words seemed like nothing to me. I was just speechless. I had no idea how I was supposed to react to his. So I did the only thing I knew best. I got up off the couch and ran to my room. I laid on my bed not sure of what I just did or what I should be doing.

I could hear footsteps coming up the stairs. Ones that were not fumier to me. I rolled onto my back and looked at my door way. Yep, it was Charlie alright. "Look summer I know nothing I say or do will make up for lost time but I would really love to get to know my baby sister if that's okay with you" Charlie seemed like a really caring guy. I kind of moved over on my bed slightly so he could sit down which he did. "I'm sorry for running away like I did. I'm just not good with knew people or people for that matter. I shouldn't have ran off like that I'm sorry Charlie." I was fighting back the tears. I mean if you finally met your brother after all these years you would be a little emotional too.
