It was now dark and the whole back yard was lit up and everyone was still enjoying themselves.
After i sat with diamond for a little while i went up to the dj asking him to play a song for me.
My heart was pounding a little bit as i was getting ready to give diamond her gift that i had been planning on giving her.
I got up grabbing a microphone to get everyone's attention
" First of all i wanna say thank you to everyone coming out and celebrating our baby, me and diamond both greatly appreciate the gifts and support from you all.." i said looking around
"diamond , i actually have one more thing I wanted to give you personally tonight." I said as everyone " oouuued and awwwed"
I signaled to the dj to play the song as I grabbed diamonds hands to bring her in front of the set up.
"if only you knew by patty laBelle began playing as her face lit up.
I grabbed her hand looking at her as she was smiling wide at me
" ive been telling you throughout this whole journey that im soo soo happy that i get to experience this with you and how i wouldnt have it any other way. Starting a family with you is more than enough for me in this lifetime and i want you to know how much i love you" i said looking at her as I could tell she was holding back tears.
" which is why i feel like this gift is only appropriate.... " I got down onto one knee as everyone gasped in excitement.
"Diamond i couldnt see my life any other way without you in it.. i want this forever and forever and the next life after that.. i want us to spend the rest of our lives together."
I watched as diamonds smile went into a immediate shock as she put her hands over her mouth.
At this point i was choking back tears.
" Diamond Marie Anderson... will you marry me ?" I asked setting down the microphone
She began to cry covering up her face as she leaned down onto me
I could hear other sniffles as I waited on her to answer
" oh my gosh chris.." she said through trying to catch her breath as she looked at me.
" yes baby yess!! Ill marry you" she said pulling me up giving me a long kiss.
I places the ring on her finger as she continued to cry and analyze the ring.
